it seems that most of the commenter's troubles are swinging the card downwards and stripping out the second card. i had the same troubles. my suggestion to swinging the card down is to let gravity completely take over at one point, which ties into stripping the other card out. using gravity, let the card swing into position while curling the pointer finger in and bringing the middle finger on top. then just pull the card out, and halfway out, clip the card between the pointer and middle finger
