  • Don't know if anyone has said since this was a while ago but sephora has a tool for applying glitter, it is like a regular brush but the end of it is silicone like a spatula and is $13.00 go to their ite and check it out. It really holds the glitter awesome! Also did you know that Aromaleigh is going out of business and is having awesome sales?! Check it out! Loved the glitter, you picked all I have in my cart..lol.. I also have lots of cats. 7 of them plus about 30-40 stray and feral I feed..

  • the eyeliner sealant thing that aromaleigh sells for like $4 is great for like painting the glitter on your lids or lining with them.

  • Very lovely I can not say that there is one that I did not like they are all very pretty colors Have fun with them :)

  • Well for the glitter, I use any brand of pencil eye shadow. Those are creamy so the glitter sticks well. Or you can buy glitter cream (transparent, glue like stuff)at Sally.

  • those are nice glitters, i own hothothot, shakeitup, spooky, and redshadows...i also just make my own mixing medium

  • If I'm wearing it with an eyeshadow, I put on my eyeshadow as usual, then dampen a brush with mixing medium (barely any) and then get the glitter on the brush, and tap it over top of the eyeshadow. Wearing it alone, I've found that cream color bases work fine, any kind of eye primer, or concealer, just try to get it on before it dries. BTW gorgeous glitters!!

  • for glitter i just used a stick conceler and it stays on pretty well...i use wet n wild coverall stick and you can get it at walgreens and it works really well. i hope that helps some...and i hope your kitty is okay :]

  • i find that the mac eyeliner mixing medium helps a lot, it doesn't take off your eye color that much and it helps the glitter to stick. eyelash mixing medium is good to if the mac pro store is out.

  • I use eyelash glue ! Works awesome !

  • I actually use Aromaleigh's version of mixing medium (I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called - something like eyeliner sealant) to apply the glitter. She had it on sale a few months back :) I've only used the glitter as an accent, though.

  • i have aromaleigh glitters in red shadows, phantom and evil woman, and also silver and black (don't know color names) and aside from using them to line my eyes, i go get some of those sample size mini-mascaras in the clear coat and use a coffee stirrer to transfer some glitter into the clear mascara. you can wait for your regular mascara to dry and then brush some glitter onto your lashes as well.

  • using mac's paint pots or like a good primer could help you sick the glitter?

  • i would use like a foundation or maybe a skin toned eyeliner to help the glitter stick. and keep tape ready to pick up the fall off from your skin

  • Gorgeous colors! I can't wait for a look you can show us.

  • I like Ben Nye glitter glue for glitter, it really sticks!

  • apply clear mascara to the tips of your lashes (after you apply reg mascara) then with a brush lightly apply glitter to the tips of your lashes before the clear mascara dries...great way to add a splash of punk glam

  • I've heard of people using everything from chap-stick to eyelash glue for their glitter. I'm sure those would be worth a shot. Also, vaseline does wonders with everything...

  • put body lotion on your eyes:] and then the glitter=)

  • I like MAC eyeliner mixing medium for glitter eyeliner. I don't really like using the water-based MAC mixing medium with glitters - too much fallout. The eyeliner mixing medium is also good for adhering the glitters to your lids (just pat a light amount as it is very tacky). For adhering glitters to the face, I prefer using DUO adhesive. Also, if you want more even application of glitter on your lips, try mixing the glitter with a dollop of gloss first and using a lip brush to apply.

  • i sent you a little email on your gmail account about a week ago ....it was about the EZ pressing solution from coastal scents ...did you ever get the email?

  • i use vaseline on my eyelid and then press the glitter into it, it works rele well. i've also heard people use false eyelash glue

  • haha yeah i can imagen! I just dislike when people get animals and then they wont them to live with restriktions worse then prision:)

  • There is gel you can buy to help the glitter stick

  • sweet and doesnt that lip ring bother u when trying to apply lip products??????

  • No, i'm used to it ;) Just have to apply to the left side, then the right side. LOL

  • they also make mixing medium eyeliner thats good for glitters.

  • You make me soooooooooo jealous, you are so gorgeous and so put together.

  • Ohh that's cuz you only see me for 10 minutes at a time ;) You never see me on my bad days, or when i haven't showered or brushed my teeth for 3 days straight ;p LOL

I let my dishes pile up for weeks, same with laundry. I have junk scattered all over the house...

I'm no more put together than anyone else, trust me ;) But thanks!

  • Thanks for sharing the goods with us!

Lol! And it's good to know that even out in YT land the pretty people are REAL people. ;P My house can get crazy too and I'm always more comfortable having people over that don't keep a perfect home. So...I guess that means you're welcome anytime you find yourself in Louisiana. Haha!

  • haha thats so funny tiny kitty ur great love all the videos!

  • I have never used glitters, but I do use pigments that someone I know sent me ;) I have used the Jesse's Girl Transformer pen to make pigments into eyeliner, try using that ;) They have two sides one is thick for like eye lid use and one is thin that you can use for liner. Those are simply gorgeous! I can't wait to see what you do with them. And tiny cat KILLS me. LMFAO!

  • I'll have to try the Medusa's make up eyeliner seal i guess!

    Thanks Mari!

  • Tiny cat is hilarious!

  • cream base works good. Also if you want to make it a liner use lash glue. Hope tiny cat is ok.

  • Nice goodies

  • these are awesome I would love to get some of those, i also have been eyeing up their products for awhile since I use mineral makeup. thanks for this video alot!

  • Just keep checking their site for sales & get a few then. That's what i did. It can get a little pricey otherwise. I really like all the eye shadows i have from the Rocks! collection. I'll have to do some more looks with them!

  • your hous is amazing for a cat :D like going to disney land every day :)

  • haha, yeah it is ;) They always like teetering along the top rail of the banister, which is like 20 feet up... totally freaks me out that they will fall. One of them DID fall one time, LOL, but she was okay ;) They like to sit up there & attack their tail through the banister rails... haha crazy cats!

  • Trish Mcevoy Finish Line. I put a drop on like a stone or hard non porous surface. The I dip a small brush in the drop then dip into the glitter and appy to your eye. It's supposed to be waterproof eyeliner safe for the water line. You can change any eyeshadow into a liner. Although I don't know if the glitter is water line safe. I like to spread the MAC red/black glitter all over my lid this way.

  • I do have some Medusa's make up eyeliner seal... i will have to try that! Thanks for the suggestion!

  • glitter! :| omg LOL i love it !

mac has this mixing medium thing for the eyes , works great with glitter i heard! its a pro product i think..

since i dont have that i use lashglue HAHA :D works fine for now..

  • I'm thinking maybe the MAC Fix+ will work too? Don't people say its almost the same thing as the mixing medium? LOL ;)

  • lol well if u have the fix+ then give it a try and let me know ;) haha

im going for the eye mixing medium thing :D my mac store will be a pro store in feb :| haha im so excited !

  • Oh fun! I WISH they would open a Pro store here! I mean, come on, it's Philadelphia! LOL

The closest Pro store to me is in New York City, and that's just too far to go for make up! I think it's like a 2 hour drive or something, and then of course traffic would be insane!

(I know you're not in the US, but I still had to ramble about that ;))

  • im going to new york city in february and im sooo going to the pro store haha:D its the first thing on my to do list.. see this is how far an addict goes!

  • How exciting!! ;) I wish i had the ability to travel, but it's an impossibility with all the pets & the way my job is right now. Maybe some day ;)

  • It was funny and I didn't get to see it and I laughed....but I am happy Tiny Cat is ok.

    Lovely

  • ive used chapstick to get glitter to stick to eyelids... creases, though

  • hehe very creative!

  • ur cats funni!!

  • Karolaid had a video using green glitter (I think its call green goddess)but I don't know what she used.

  • Per Enkore, She Laq (Benefit) is a good product to set these glitters on the skin. I was too sensitive/allergic to put She Laq on my lids and ended up returning it to Sephora. But many poeple say it's a great sealant.

  • I do have that Medusa's Make Up Eyeliner Seal... wonder how that would work? I'm thinking of putting the glitter ALL over my lid.

Might try mixing it with a little eye cream!

    Thanks!! ;p

  • That's right you do have a sealant already! I hope the Medusa one works for you! Keep us updated.

  • usually for my glitters i just pat them on to my eyelid with a brush after im done my look...they usually just stick on lol...i don really use anything to make them stick, but i've seen other girls on youtube using eyelash glue!

  • I thought about eyelash glue too... but i'm thinking of what to do if i want my entire lid covered with glitter! I think that would be too much glue haha and it wouldn't look or feel too sweet i imagine!

    Thanks! ;p
