Later on, he was freed by Maxi, Kilik, Xianghua and the Soul Calibur. He still retains a deep connection with the Soul Blade due to the intimate symbiotic link they shared for a lot of time (kinda Captain Picard with the Borg Collective in Star Trek TNG).

This is by far the best version of Siegfried, and overall the best in terms of personality and voice. Crispen Freeman did a great job here, and a lot better then Roger Craig Smith did in SC4. If there is a 5th one I wish Crispen Freeman is the voice of Siegfried since as seen from this video, this was by far the best version of Siegfried.

FFFF, where to begin. Well the big problem is the game data gets corrupted real easy. Other than that, well some characters are drastically different from the way they used to play. It's mostly just overpowered/underpowered issues and some silly game play modes.

The 'story' mode is pretty much the same for everyone. And that whole 'real time strategy' game is..... pretty lame. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

They didnt. If you know your Soul Caliber/SoulBlade lore Soul Blade was originally named Soul Edge in Japan. It was then ported to PSone as SoulBlade. The sequel Soul Caliber was named as such because it revolved around the creation of Soul Caliber the polar opposite of Soul Edge. Soul Blade was about the origins of Soul Edge and then Soul Caliber on Dreamcast was about the war of the 2 swords and the supposed destruction of Soul edge. Which spans across Soul Caliber II, III and VI.

How so? If anything WE changed the original name which was Soul Edge to Soul Blade. Upon the sequel the game was named after the other sword. Not confusing at all and quite fitting if you ask me. It's true, actually. Inferno was the spirit of Soul Edge. I'm too lazy to go back and read the wiki, but I believe it said that Inferno inhabited the blue armor after Siegfried broke free of Soul Edge's control, then took the Embrace of Souls with him. Zasalamel created a new body for Inferno out of the spirits of Ostrheinsburg (this is the part I'm too lazy to look up again), and Inferno is now the Azure Knight, via a cursed body. But he needed Soul Edge to sustain himself.

The current Nightmare's also got a weak style. Well, it's strong, but weak in the fact that it's easy to figure out. Siegfried's is better, I'll give him that.

I like Siegfried as a separate character, myself. The only Nightmare I play as in Soulcalibur II, for example, is Nightmare's third costume, Siegfried, with either Requiem or Soul Calibur as a weapon.

I've got Soulcalibur, Soulcalibur II, and Soulcalibur IV myself (Xbox Live Arcade, Gamecube, and Xbox 360 versions, respectively). I even bought a PS1 to get Soul Blade, the first game in the series. Hoping to get a PS2 so I can get Soulcalibur III.

Crispin Freeman is an awesome voice actor, and this game was the second time I ever heard his voice acting the first being Rude in advent children. I really wished they would have re-cast Crispin as Siegfried in Soul Calibur IV I mean they recasted the other voice overs for mitsurugi, taki and xianghua, kilik I'm not to sure but I would assume as well. Tony D'augustino was SCII's nightmare voiceover which I really preferred more than SCIII's but I could tell the guy in SCIII tried to imitate him

He has Requiem in this ending because he probably let Abyss land the attack on him before fighting him.

Abyss throws his scythe at you before the fight, you have the options to either block it, destroying your weapon and getting Soul Calibur, or taking the hit and using your normal weapon.

Actually this ending never happened. What happend was that Nightmare reserected Soul Edge (Male) and clashed with Siegfried who had Soul Calibur, in the cursed city of Osterinzberg. The energy from the two swords clashing tore them both apart and fused the soul swords together to make Soul Embrace (seen at 0:00). Then Siegfried was resserected by Soul Soul Calibur when the two swords split. During that time Seig's ghost saw that man was the source of conflict thats why he crystalized the world
