Ah, the old "I've been doing this for 27 years" justification I hear so frequently in this business. Let me tell ya, if this guy has been doing this that long, he should know better. It's pretty accurate. (drum + snare...who cares?) "Neilvance" sounds like a live local musician who's managed to pay his rent by doing gigs -- and there's nothing wrong with that -- but you know, he ain't a major producer, sorry. and is just trying to stir up trouble on Youtube. wot u mean "nowhere" close!? u fuking deaf? or just plain stupid? ur missing a subtle bass drum if u listen closely to the first 4 secs of the original song. the snares should be softer and the part from 9-10secs where there is a breakdown is different. in the actual song, there's a bass drum beneath the snare repeating 4 times in succession.

It is nowhere close to the original, I have been a musician / programmer for over 27 years now, I have owned my TR-808 since 1983, long before you where though of.. if you have calmed down a bit I have the original 2 bar programme patch matrix for the TR808 used in the track above, I could email it to you if your really that interested.
