@houseguy This things do matter. They might be more temporary than heaven or hell, for sure, but they matter nonetheless. Some are more trivial than others, like a cup of coffee compared to clean water, yes. But so many Christians are so focused on the hereafter that they forget how good life can be in the here and now. I often thank God for a good cup of coffee or a beautiful sunset over the ocean, both temporary but praiseworthy.
Plus, there is only so much you can say in 3 minutes.
If this is for churches, what a waste!!! Atheists could use this for recruiting. Thankful?!?! It proves I don't need God (cause I can move, walk, read) and He does not answer my prayer. How about being thankful that even tho I feel (sad, depressed...) or I cannot walk read, or wash, there is a God who loves me so much He sent His son Christ to die for your sins so I would not suffer hell. These feelings are just temporary and self-absorbed.
@houseguy4 But i think they are showing how many peoples are. God is always talking to everyone, the thing is that not everyone is listening :) And well i do think very many people have this prayer but they aren´t listening what good have to say and they take all this things for granted :)
@Zehle325 God is always talking to us :-) very few people are listening. to hear, is the gift of a heart that has laid all its burdens down, in faith, that we are each and every one, on our own personal roads to redemption. that there is meaning & purpose in each and every day. Synchronicity & serendipity is Gods way of trying to get our attention. but the world gets in the way, fear and worry and regrets. the demands of material reality, interfere with perception.
Some of the comments are ridiculous. Some of you are WAY too serious. Loosen up a little.
