Anyone interested in playing this, be warned: it's actually a PvPvE - meaning it is at some point pretty challenging. The quests do get boring after a while and overall you need to be ready to invest a pretty big amount of time into the game. My advice: get a friend to level up with and choose complementary classes. If you do want to run solo and you aren't really fond of struggling in PvE go with Chanter - you can go for 5-6 kills (not at once) without needing to rest or heal a lot. :D

What if you root some1 in the air and what about knock back ?

@Bover9000iii If you root someone in the air, they simply fall outta the air. (That is if they're gliding.) If they're flying, they become rooted in that spot until freed by the expiration of the root or an appropriate potion. Knock back and stun skills are relevant to every class. There's a skill learned at lvl 40 that allows you to break out of stun or knock back once every minute and a half (approximately).

How does the looting in the dungeons work? Do the bosses guarantee a drop when you run through the instance? Or what percent do they drop loot at?

@friskoaznboi The bosses dont guarantee drops. It depends what dungeon you are in for drop rates, they tend to not be to bad if its not a yellow, but if its a blue you will tend to get drops at higher levels that are decent.

Graphics look nice, but the character movement animations look poor. This kills immersion for me.

@jeozerkz Its a fun game all the way through, but if you play a Open PVP game like Aion, be warned youll get pwned by higher levels. =P

WTH ? no pve instances ? there are dozens of em . group ones , alliance ones ,solo ones

and campaigns quests are very dynamic . its like go poison this River to spawn this mob

I played some MMO's and didn't spend much time in them, but AION was different, I started the game after 3 months of it's launch, and spent loooooong hours and I will never forget this game and the fun I had in it, the game system when it comes to PVP or even PVE is unique in my opinion, I didn't like the new crucible pvp, but atleast it's something new to do, let's hope 3.0 and F2P attracts more players ;)

Great game. Played it and would continue to play it if the game's pvp was balanced more. Simply put I played the game hardcore for a good while getting all the gold pvp gear for lvl 30s. I made 5 or 4 characters to get that nice blue quest gear that you can only get 1 piece per character. And I reached level 45. Once reaching the 40s I started high level duels with twinks similar to me. Glad, Templar, where the best. Their skills are just too strong in pvp situations. Game is simply unbalanced.

open world like no other...ummm...so many 1K vs 1K games out there....><. Regnum on line, is a basic, yet even better example. There was also Warhammer online, same thing.

The game graphis are horrible. Even on 1070HD this video is horrible. The character animations are ok...but umm... PRius online level, nothing more or less. Just a few notches above WoW... That said LOOK at the archetecture. This is CLASSIC mistake of KOREAN games trying to make EUROPEAN gothic structures. THEY FAIL. Look at the size of a rail, a window, a roof top, in comparison to the CHARACTER. IT IS WAY OFF. IT looks goofy, dumb, and forced. Another reason people dislike this trash title.

This game failed it's fans and all that is left are a handful of dedicated players. The model died in europe and is going F2P. This is mostly due to the fact GW2 = the best PvP, and people know it, and it does not require a monthly fee (one time purchase). In fact, when the noob reviewer says "It is like star craft 2, where ou build to pvp"... That is called GW2. That said, I am not a fan of GW2. I actually do not like it. This game sucks is all, because it lacks ALLOT of what other f2P offers.

Only thing i am sad about in aion is that is not that much pvp action that it whas for 1 yr ago and makes it kinda borring i got a 55 ranger and 51 Cleric but i am sadly gonna go back to wow reason is wow got alot of pve witch dont requere so many ppl, and Aion is pvp as you said and requeres alot of ppl imo before it is fun it aint fun only to get into pvp action once every second day but again thats imo... might be the reason Aion got to make it f2p now as they need more players for there PVP

and Aion = asian then im more into asian MMOs, i dont mind the grind as long as the pvp mechanics are worth it. but im reading alot about NCsoft west being 100% useless and have no control over content/changes in the game

@FeIdrance It's obvious that NCSoft West has no control over changes in game, simply since NCSOFT asian developers are owners and they decide what to change. Other reason is that western Aion got too few players Compared to Asia and Western players QQ reaaaally hard about what changes they would like to see. If you are more into asian mmos then Aion is for you, no westernized boring changes

Really liked your vid. Couple things I noticed though. The next update will be 3.0(housing, new areas, new level cap, mounts ect.) they're not going to have a 2.8 or 2.9. You're going to find a lot more pve towards end game so you will find lots of it to do but your right this is focused on pvp. There are battlegrounds end level now.. three types dredge(6v6), ffa 10v10, and a 1v1. I don't know of new warzones but there will be pvp lakeish things in 3.0. Definitely a good game but different.

I used to play Perfect World Int. but it got to the point where you ran out of quests and you were only 10% into your next level and the only way to lvl up was to do repeatable quests (which were pretty much about going into the same exact lame dungeon every day) or just grind, which offered little exp.

swtor turned out to be a completely garbage MMO imo, would you still recommend buying and starting to play aion even this late into the game?.. like would it just be better to wait for GW2?
