how do you make it red? so far i can only render it so it is just a pinkish mesh with a supposedly "cloud" texture, even though i added colors to it. Also, how do you make it look like dirt? I like it. All you need is to have a white light take over for 1-3 seconds to make it more realistic. Besides that I love it.

Good job. I would try to keep everything still, or have it set up like your on a hill, and you see the land bellow being destroyed, and the clip will end when the explosion goes up hill to the "camera"

its descibed in one of the first comments on this video ... basicly there are 3 objects moving and getting resized by keyframes, and two different animated textures ... one going up and one going down ... the up-one is used for the cylinder, the down-one is used for the torus

Well not that sort of realistic. kuroiso's nuke is what i call realistic, youre's is overall very good. The reflection of the buildings was realistic and and the camera shaking. youre's is more fun.

no cause i cant script anything :) in the meaning of "not able to" :) the city is leveled at once via keyframes ... the ground which stays after the city is swapped under the surface is a plane with the same material as the dustwave, which expandes during explosion .. hope it helped

bomb consists of 3 tori, and one pipe ... they are sized via keyframes and just getting bigger during the animations ... on the meshes, there are animated displacement textures ... thats it ... so the movement of the tremulous air effext is a torus thats getting bigger (diameter) and the "look" of the effect is done by an animated displacement texture
