That ride was pretty sweet. Luckily for us we got there when the park opened, so the line was only like, 5 minutes, tops. I will say though, once the park opened like half the crowd immediately high-tailed it to Everest :) I swear going up that big hill I could see all the way to MGM (hollywood studios)

I agree. When I did it I could swear there were loops as my head felt really weird when we went backwards. But I asked afterwards and was assured there weren't any lol. I'm afraid of loops!

I AGREE!!!

It MUST be that you are going up another hill backwards (since you are about to do the big drop, you need to get higher) and you just get pushed forward, but yes, it TOTALLY feels like you do a loop. It is also MUCH faster in real life than these videos seem to show.

just a 1.5-turn helix. the only coaster at walt disney world to go upside down is rock-n-roller coaster at mgm studios.

Hands down the best ride in animal kingdom. I was there over spring break 2005 and saw the mountain being built and I told my friends when we come back it is the first thing we ride. So in 2007 when we returned we rode it and it blew my mind. The video does not do the justice it deserves. It is simply a great ride.

lol, this is an awesome Ride. I Went on it 8 times. The first day we were there it broke down. It stopped while it was almsot at the top. The people had to walk down... I Think It was 30 flights of stairs? lol, And I got to touch the yeti, it probobly wasnt that safe, but It sure was fun!
