I was working on battle ship full scale and 100% game like its huge. not done but has your ship select you say like hit the button for destroyer then hit the button u want it on and the direction then when done you hit the load and your enemy does the same and its set up with logic to check for all possible combinations hit,miss,sunk and what not i'm currently taking a break from it because its massive and pistons have improved a lot of circuits in it now so i might end up redoing a lot of it!

wouldnt it be easier to just have the thing covered in blocks before the game and you remove the blocks you want? Then when you miss the light turns off and it would be easier to see where youve already gone. Also maybe connect it to a clock so hits will flash

@MecMachinic I tried that initially. It didn't really work out. It's hard to fit all the required redstone in when you have to transfer 200 signals two ways across 60 meters.

@sethbling in this method your are not transfering any of the signals past anything but a wall ... why would you have to do that in the horizontal version. just have 1st floor v 2nt floor and lay the whole thing down.
