  • I had ACL surgery on June 17,2011. But my knee crack and pop when I walk and step . Tell me what is it?

  • I HAD ONE OF THESE, oh wait i had 2!

  • i'm an it student. WHY AM I WATCHING THIS?!

  • thats exacly what they did to me last week.. now i can barely move but it must be because my knee is still healing

  • I love the way this video show thedetails.I will be working with patients this will be useful.

  • Just got it done two days ago.

  • @pinje How was it and how was the recovery time ? Please reply as i may have to get this done depending on my MRI scan Thanks

  • @SillyBoyBlue83 1 day and I was out of hospital. It might have been earlier but I have 2 other operations. I honestly find that my knee is such at benefit now and I'm hoping to run in the new year. I'm so happy and without pain now. It will feel quite tight and like a ripping sensation but it's Ok. Give it a few weeks and you will be well on your mend.

  • On average how long is the recovery period for this surgery? Let's say someone has this surgery next month, will the knee be back at 100% by next September if everything goes well?

  • Not when it's torn

When I tore my MCL they had me in there for a week.

Recovery time on the other hand wasn't that long considering that it was only about six weeks.

  • My dad has this done on thursday - he had torn cartilage in his left knee and was causing him pain so he had the op done and now he's gonna be on crutches till next weekend :) *th may)

  • would an MRI scan diagnose any cartilage damage? I've got an MRI scan due soon and I just hope that it discovers what's wrong my sodding knee.

  • I had this surgery cause my mensicus tore

  • Thank you for making such an informative 3D video. This helps me understand my upcoming surgery a lot better!

  • I've had 5 of these. I damaged my knee 40 years ago, now I need to have it cleaned because I love hiking. I'm so used to it, that I usually schedule it for a Friday, so I can go back to work on Monday. I will need a replacement knee soon, but after being scoped the knee feels great for a year or so. It's a simply and painless operation. A few hours of pain meds, and you're on the road again. Don't fear this proceedure, welcome it.

  • really illuminating

  • are you knocked out for this op

  • I was. I had an ACL repair. I think I might need this though. Knee is popping alot. Got in a fight. =[

  • tmac had this surgery last year

    now he had microfracture surgery

  • very helpful!

  • This knee surgery medical animation is so helpful in understanding this procedure. When the doctor tells you the surgery is minimally invasive, only seeing is believing!

  • Excellent medical animation on knee surgery!

  • What a great example of a minimally invasive procedure performed on the knee joint!

  • This is a very informative 3d medical animation of knee arthroscopy.

  • this is a very interesting medical animation- I had no idea they could go in with such small instruments to extract part of the damaged menisci

  • Very cool animation on knee arthroscopy surgery!
