  • The Galapagos would be a dream holiday for me.

  • cute!!!

  • Shame that was a Sea Lion...

  • @falloutcharlotte so a sea lion is not a seal?

might as well look that up again... stupid

  • It looks hungry jaja

  • SeaLION.

  • guys, they have to back away. you're not supposed to interact with the wild animals on the galápagos islands, otherwise they get used to the humans. also, if you touch any sort of baby animals, the mother might not recognize it.

  • Its not a seal, its a sea lion.

  • @mmariealysee a sea lion is not a seal????

    LOL!!!!

  • @hauor No, a sea lion is not a seal. I happen to have spent hours a day volunteering at an aquarium telling ignorant people like you the difference between the two.

They are both in the superfamily: Pinnipedia. Sea Lions, like the one in this video are characterized by external ear-flaps, long fore-flippers, the ability to walk on all fours. Seals have none of those things.

  • I wouldn't have backed away.. I would have let it come to me(:!

  • Anyone who has been Arrested Development knows how dangerous a loose seal can be.

  • Tis a sea lion

  • rubs it gut!

  • I think is a sea lion actualy but still, sooooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • are they wearing sandles on Ice!

  • @Sanjid099

    This is on a beach

  • HE'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE

  • Seallion wants a ball.

  • What a cutie.

  • I think that's a sea lion

  • @TheAnimal1928 It is. Sea lions are not seals, either. They're pinnipeds, like seals, part of the same superfamily, but true seals do not have ears or split tails.

  • @CorrieClassics

You are not allowed to touch the animals, however they can touch you if they choose to...that's ok.

  • @GitteJP I'd be careful about doing something like that anyways,

It is a wild animal after all and they are unpredictable...

    It does look cute though.

  • sea lion seals belly crawl

  • This is a sea lion, not a seal.

  • @Kagedtiger

You're so right. Easy to see the difference on their tails.

  • i think that's a sea lion

  • That is a sea lion not a seal people, it is really easy to tell the difference!!!

  • not a seal its a sealion

  • SHHHHHH, dont scare him...

  • And people used to just walk up like this and club them.

  • aww how sweet i want one lol

  • I WANT A BABY SEAL!!!!!!!!!! So cute!

  • Seal: Oooh, what are you strange creatures?

Boy: I'm not supposed to touch you! *back away*

    Seal: I wanna play!

    lol

  • Haha so funny the boy got scared when the seal moved closer! I'd probably be too even though the seal is cute and looks like my dog (with different legs that is)

  • You should try to touch the seals, there've been accidents involving seal bites. Some of which become infected very quickly. If you want to pet a seal, go to the zoo on one of their special days.

  • i just wana make seal burgers out of it :)

  • @fallenangeldemon666 your just dumb.... hope someday someone is going to make burgers out of you.

  • @Sinnlosx01 mmmmmmmm :) and id be the tastyiest burger ever :) id even beat those delicious seal meat burger's that i love so much with hot suace :D

  • @fallenangeldemon666 go back into your corner and cry lil emo baby

  • @Sinnlosx01 no.

  • @fallenangeldemon666 then die.

  • @Sinnlosx01 not really feeling that

  • just beautiful

  • haha! Hes like "Ah!! Aliens!!" lol

  • cute :)

    :D

  • i wanna feed him a fishy!

  • Look at his flippers! so cute.

  • aw why is that boyy infront backing away?

i would move closer to that friendly baby sea lion & be friends with him/her. :)

  • If you run into a wild baby seal and touch them, the scent left behind would force the mother to abandon her young :(..plus you don't want wild animals dependent on humans.

  • @Naxyr That's not true. you still shouldn't touch them for a variety of reasons but their mother will not abandon them. This is also untrue for baby bunnies and birds

  • Since this was filmed at Galapagos, it's a national park and they are trying to keep it conserved. "Later in 1968, the National Park Service for the Galapagos was initiated and today on the island, groups of no more than 20 visitors are led by a certified naturalist. This policy is intended to reduce the impact on the fragile ecosystem while providing a sense of solitude and privacy on the islands." They're trying to keep it as unchanged/unsoiled as possible. Which includes no touching animals

  • They're not allowed to touch them.

  • @stellaamyshim He's probably well aware that you're not allowed to disturb wild life; despite how harmless it may seem, it does have consequences =(

  • @stellaamyshim seal*

  • @stellaamyshim

Yeah, i know. I was just thinking the same thing. If it's a baby seal, it's definitely friendly. Right? I'd pet it and feed it and hug it and stuff.

  • 0:10 = Mega attack!

  • see, they are not doing anything wrong..why just not leave them, and their species alone!

  • hahaha, it's so lovely the way they walk!

  • its probally like im going to eat all of you guys! dont come near

    cute*

  • why dint u touch it might not hav biten

  • For the record, some seals DO have ears, and do walk on their flippers like that. This might be a fur seal...

  • The title of this video is accurate. Although more closely related to sea lions than to true seals, the animal in this video is in fact, a fur seal. Fur seals have ears and can move on all fours. This particular type of fur seal is endemic to the Galapagos islands.

  • That's actually a baby Sea Lion. not a seal.

  • good news; a healthy seal :) this frendship is sealed : )

  • Looks more like a sea lion to me.

  • yeah...it has ears.

  • hehehe! She started goin at the people! She wanted to say Hi or get a pet! :):):)

  • Keep away from it!!! Aww

The Mother will Smell Human Scent And never coem back to its Baby!!! I know it's Hard to Stay away But you have too.

  • I like this seal. Where is Galapagos?

  • Galapagos is in South America and its part of Ecuador.

  • @burnstalls ECUADOR IS WHERE IM FROM ECAUDOR RULES NEXT TIME I VISIT MAYBE ILL SEE IT!
