As for Gillis, he changed the culture of this organization the minute he decided not to offer Naslund a new contract. Gillis is also living up to his promise to put more emphasis on player development. Burke left absolutely nothing in the system.If Nonis had stuck around, he likely would have pushed harder to re-sign him and Morrison.
