On the down low: for those of other nations wondering what our perspective might be, KKK has absolutely no significance in my eyes or in the history of the country. To be honest, I wouldn't have done this (knowing the fallout it could cause across the pacific), however I can understand how they wouldn't have thought the same given it is not significant to us at all. It's a far cry from all the ads on TV. I suppose it is a little too much to ask these particular ppl to actually live up to what is expected of them by the public, but I concede the ADF does not recruit people like these based on their mental faculties. ADF work is stressful, but so is working in law enforcement, emergency services & health, not to mention other high risk jobs (such as mining) that others do just to support the family & put food on the table.
