Even as a huge, devout Habs fan, I will say this: the Leafs will make the playoffs in 2009-10. Their D looks tough and all they need is a couple of solid scoring forwards! Orr and Deveaux are not the solution but if they can pick up a good scorer somewhere, they will win their fair share of games....arrrhhh! Expect Grabovski to be a 70-point scorer for the Leafs (25 goals - 45 assists) this season. In all, it won't be easy to score goals against the Leafs this year!
The Leafs don't even really need to get that many scoring forwards, they just need to be patient. They have guys like Stefanovich, Bozak, Stalberg, etc. coming in who will all likely be good players (nothing's for sure but they all look really good at this point) so they probably won't need to actually go out and get many forwards. Obviously they're the Leafs though so they're going to get a few good players every off season anyway. They look good atm though, great goaltending and good defense.
Good stuff. A little hard zeroing in on who you are featuring in some segments. Maybe using a spotter or arrow would be cool (and yes I know who XLB, Komi, Beauchemin etc... are just was straining a bit to find them at times). Overall, gave it a 5 star rating! Keep em coming...
