  • Youtube pilots are funny...and retarded

  • floats are full or got a hole in them

  • They fish rather aggressively over there

  • A crop duster on floats?

  • @c6rocks waterbomber

  • Looks like he should have shut it down to safe the PT6 and paddle in....Duh Oh!

  • @learjetguy yup

  • He is sinking and trying to beach the airplane .

  • ???

  • That's one way to spoil a perfectly serviceable PT-6 Engine

  • he seen a fish

  • Obviously the prop was dirty and he was trying to clean it.

  • I wonder if his engine is still under warranty?

  • I prefer foam filled floats.

  • floaters full of water , not a change to take off.

  • LeOoops....

  • the engine is expensive...

  • did you ever think that the pilot thought that his plane may be sinking and wanted to get out of deeper water?

  • not only did this pilot do it once but THREE times ,,,shows you pilots are not the brightest tools in the shed ( im a pilot too)

  • I suppose its better to fuck up your engine and save the plane and possibly yourself...

  • Kiss that prop goodbye! Dumb Ass!!!!

  • @kw757 not only the Prop... whole engine must be overhauled...

  • Should've shut down the engine.

  • Ooops!

  • That's what happens when you dip your nuts in coconut oil?

  • ????????

  • is that payware?

  • Nice you fucking broke it!

  • what a dumbass!!!

  • is a russian pilot there?...

  • He is an amazing pilot for continuing to make power runs into water until the turbine is shock cooled and stressed out and the propeller has taken a a total shit kicking. Solid decision making there. Amazing skills

  • @699backstab LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps he thought he was sinking and trying to make it to shallow water ... still a tool any way.

  • yea, if all else fails try try again, if that doesn't work floor it. dude shut the damn thing down and get a tow. Looks to me like he lowered the gear and he started taking on water.

  • Comment removed

  • It's one of those's secret new flying sub things lol

  • I wonder what the pilot was thinking; What the fu~~! why is my plane sinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is that a Piper Pawnee?

  • I think he needs a comp wash

  • Missing the start and end of the problem but two facts can be decerned from the video.

    1) The gear is down.

    2) The floats are rapidly filling and the pilot knows this as evidenced by the desperation to get the aircraft to shore.

  • this is why we do weight and balance before every flight:)

  • @gowill2 Float ag planes are rated for MTOW for buoyancy it'd be an issue with his floats... and it's pretty hard to overload a ag plane - unless you put ball bearings in the hopper....

  • That pilot needs to take off some weight.

  • does anyone actually know what happened? no trolls, please

  • It is not a seaplane, the floats are only to be used on the step to refill with water. This guy overpowered it into the water. He was trying to get up on the step, but can't, it's not designed to, so as he adds power, the tips drive under and then as he picks up speed, the floats are trying to dynamically dive. When he lets off the throttle, it comes back up on bouyancy.

  • monkey fell asleep....never got to tell the pilot to stop breaking stuff

  • i think i foresee a problem with this aircrafts design

  • @benspreen It's a little late for that to happen...

    foresee

    –verb (used with object)

    1.

    to see or know beforehand

  • @8literbeater i dont see why you gave me a dictionary definition, i spelled it right and used it properly you are a fail troll. I foresee a problem in the future of this aircraft ie. its future landings and takeoffs from the water. Im not an idiot, yo on the other hand might be for having to find any possable detail that might be wrong with a comment then try to correct them like a smart ass only to find out that the person was correct in the first place

  • @benspreen The aircraft has already been designed, and had a problem. Past tense. You can't foresee something from the past. To foresee a problem with the design, you would have to do it before it was designed, or at least before it became a problem.

    foresee

    1. to see or know beforehand

    Rest in peace, English language.

  • it takes 2 hand to clap.come on stop quarrelling.:D

  • What a maroon,complete imbecile....

  • in my guess, you should use your control wheel or stick correctly. it depends on wind direction.

  • dumb frenchman

  • fucking retarded cuntus

  • Comment removed

  • The floats can be filled with water to drop on fires. That should be done "on the step" while skimming the water at 80 kts. After the water is dropped, and the floats are full of air, the plane can be landed like normal. To land the plane with the floats full of water is stupid. Also, prop transmission and engine is damaged if the prop goes into the water like that.

  • "Ok Mr. Pilot! No dessert for you for two weeks!!!

  • Maybe it's the water that is too high.

  • @tryithere - Or the payload!

  • @tryithere yeah we have that problem around here a lot!!

  • @CaptainMan117 Yes that's understandable, but it just looked like he was risking tens of thousands of dollars of engine damage.

  • Was the plane overloaded?

  • @CaptainMan117 Hardly.

Honestly the maturity of people on Youtube disagreeing is just astounding.

  • @ninjawest12 Honestly Your a gay EMOTARD who likes geting it up the bum.Bbtw sorry to hear about your uncle raping you when you were 13 Guess that explains why you look like you do and are always fondoling your hair hahahahah

  • @SuperNobama1 That's right, because I'm so comfortable with myself that i don't have to be like ''Grrr i'm straight. I love pussy pussy pussy'' that obviously makes me gay. .

Obviously, you seem to think your comment was by some standard ''clever'' so I'm just gonna suggest you go back to school (if you've even left) and ask why you're now spending your free time trolling 16 year old guys on the net. Just a thought.

Oh and i have psoriasis, so I'm always playing with my hair. I can't not.

  • @ninjawest12 LOL GHAY EM0TARD Who is flaking out BAHAHAHA .

  • At the first strike SHUT IT DOWN I can't understand why they kept striking.

  • Insufficient flotation

  • Who was in the cockpit? 'Kyle Bush'??

  • @icu123abc It's spelled "Busch" you stupid fuck

  • Bummer, no of us would want to be there. Wheel were out in the front, but, who knows.

  • owch-prop strike--full teardown pt-6 -100g plus cost-

  • some sneaky bugger switched his floats with sinks.

  • Yes. it is a PT6 but the prop shaft is still connected to the reduction gearbox which is driven by the power turbine. There is a real risk to the prop shaft and components in the reduction gearbox not to mention stresses on the prop itself..

  • Did somebody forget to close the float drains?

  • This pilot was smart he kept running that turboprop engine in the water until he shredded everything inside it! Now instead of replacing those amphibious floats, now its a new engine!

  • j'ai rien compris ! Quand il met les gaz, il pique, mais avec ses roulettes à l'avant des flotteurs, c'est normal, non ? c'est "cheval de bois aquatique" . . .

Si qqun peut m'expliquer, merci !

  • Now, I'm not going to even pretend to be an expert in anything, but shouldn't the floats be, you know... floating?

  • Nessie's cousin is holding the aircraft-

  • It doesn't matter what might have gone wrong to cause the prop to dip into the water, but I think by second time it happened I would have had the good sense to shut it off before I wrecked the whole plane.

  • aaahahahaha what an idiot!

  • Plane looks heavy

  • @jsmallwood2007 maybe a monster ander the water was holding the plane

  • the front wheels were down. so the rear wheels were down. he should have cut the prop and see if it sank . . . . Unless he couldnt swim. Thats a really expensive engine and prop to overhaul because of prop strike. Weird video, Definitely fun to watch but dumb pilot

  • water pumps in floats that take water out dont work....

  • Comment removed

  • I don't understand why he didn't shut the engine off after the first time the prop hit the water..

  • @Mav1843 I don't know about the At-6 but most turbo props are geared, meaning the prop isn't directly connected to the shaft of the turbine. So they'll need a new prop and probably new gearing but the engine itself is usually alright.

  • i wanna ask something and im not an expert.. should't the floats have foam inside or something like that??? in case they get water?

  • @mandugal They are designed to take water in. The aircraft is called aFire Boss as in fire fighting. It is designed to land on the water, fill the floats and take off again to dump the water on a forest fire.

  • @Premair - It definately looks like the floats were nearly full of water, so your explanation makes perfect sense to me.

  • DIVE! DIVE! DIVE! lol

  • He left the scoops open on landing. Now it's soon to be a submarine/corral reef.

  • @Chuckjagermeister that seems about right.

  • JRN.......Float planes, amphibs, to be more accurate DO have retractable landing gear to be used on land, or water. Hints the nickname "AMPHIB". A+++ for sirlandsalot and canawest

  • he isn't having a great time

  • I don't like these planes. To me the idea of and Air Tractor with floats on the bottom is an idea bound for trouble. Every time i have seen one the plane always looks to struggle because of the weight distribution.

  • I can not get over the idiots posting on this, Metalica dude, you will never make it in this indusry. your arrogant attitude will get you killed, you have a lot of lip but hide behind your name. I make a living flying, in the bush and southamerica, I have done 56.3 hours this week. The guy was trying to get the aircraft to the shore, before it sinks, yes sudden stoppage inspections will need to take place but it will probally be ok. This plane is rigged to fight fire,

  • Hey JRN! What do you call those little round black things in the front of the floats? Who is the idiot? If you look it almost seems they are partially down if not all the way down so the situation of trying to take off with the gear down, and most likely tanked would make sense!

  • @canawest dude go to google images and type in airtractor float .. u look at um and tell me they retract!!

  • @reamiller Your a tard look at the begining of the video the floats are clearly amphibious. You can see the front wheels on the tip of the floats

  • airtractors dont have retractable gear idiots! he doesnt lower his gear or anything. the floats were probably leaking or had an uneven weight distribution. my father is pilot of an airtractor and i work with him so dont be going off on this or that. its either the whole plane sinks or screw up the engine. rather be the engine. so dont call the pilot retarded for making an attempt to save his airplane and himself

  • @JRNV15 look again, you can see the wheels sticking out the front of the floats when he lands. i do not work on airtractors but i do work on seaplanes. my guess is that he landed with a load of water or the floats are leaking really bad.

  • what is this retard doing??? what kind of pilot in his right mind would apply power over and over to an aircraft in that situation. WOW

  • @MrJasonRichards although i wouldn't endorse the use of the term "retard," i must admit, after the first time the propeller touched the water, i would certainly have stopped attempting because clearly something is wrong with the floats or his gear were down or something of that nature.

  • definitely would have idled it back for shut her off and waited for a boat

  • id hate for my 1.4 million dollar plane to be in that situation....

  • @ctquicksilver pc 12?

  • wonder if his floats took on some water . they seemed kinda of low in the water

  • If I had been flying that plane I would have tried to keep the prop out of the water.

  • It's not that we know anything about flying these planes. But the guy in the video is supposed to know.

  • How many people died?

  • @mannen782 17.4 at last count.

  • i guess his floats filled up with water

  • @matt789er NO- Obviously.... a Beach Craft

  • Expensive engine rebuild !!!!

  • That thing looks very low in the water, are the floats flooding or something?

  • isnt it funny how video comments always seem to degenerate into people slagging each other off. give it a break guys!!!!

  • ruke22, you sound like an insane person. Who is going to fly to Australia to fight over a Youtube vid. People just comment on these vids between porn sessions. Get with the program, G'day you stupid fuck.

  • There's an engine teardown. Ouch!

  • DOH!

  • Two pilots arguing.....over stupid shit/.

That's why I have over 2500 flights and only landed 25 times in a plane.

    Martini pilots are the worst.

  • @00Billy

whats? 2500 flights and 25 landings?

  • I jump out of planes when possible. Some pilots scare the hell out of me.

The martini pilot reference is a reference to Friday afternoons usually when weekend pilots decide to make a martini and fly to their cottage. They dont file a flight plan, fly VOR, and usually fly right through an active paradrop zone.

I have been on a flight twice when our pilot had to alter course to avoid the idiot. ATC aren't much help.

Young pilot should ask questions .....not spout off like Maverick.

  • Why do people argue on YouTube? Nothing here is that important.

  • @raginh8r Oh but IT IS IT IS IT IS!!!! :)

  • uh oh sudden stoppage lol next stop engine overhaul

  • Yep Yep you know it, ya know everything about everyone miles and miles away from you.

I don't give a shit if you can't do anything with, i wouldn't give it to you.

And i know for a fact that you don't have a CFII, no flight instructor has as much of a fucked up attitude as you do.

It's funny how this is pissing you off so bad haha, it's just proof that your some 12y/old scumbag who's not getting his.

  • Ahhh, your jealous of my success, cause you got life and no hopes or dreams. and can't ever fly so you dis on those who do.

And why the hell would i tell you my license #...!?!?, that's like telling you my Drivers or SSN.

And the licensing was paid by my hard work everyday, and a really nice grant/loan. And it by be called multi engine on the certificate or something, but not everyone calls it by that, face the truth bud.

  • Sorry bud, first im 21 and do indeed have a twin engine rating, and got my private when i was 17 and instrument at 18, and the twin when i was 20. And guess what dip shit, they go by different names, Twin engine, double, multi

Don't act like you know everything cause ya don't know shit. Good day

  • puah...what a stupid pilot! You can proceed with little power...you can shut off the engine and float with intertial....but give power = stupid!

  • why dosent some one say and explain what happend?

  • Great Job!

  • @rambocivilairpatrol

It's amazing how quickly a gang of You Tube "experts" quickly dismiss and insult something as complex & difficult as taxiing a float-equipped turbine-engined Air Tractor. Have you a pilot certificate? Floatplane endorsement? How many hours do you have on the water, takeoffs, landings? The epitome of "idiot" is the one who hurls insults sans similar experience.

  • One of the downfalls of the internet is that it gives a voice to the misinformed and grossly uneducated.

  • Comment removed

  • @jesusisbetter Those who think they know everything are very annoying to those of us who do.

  • @jesusisbetter And you are the master of the inherently obvious. Are you the comment cop? Or just plain smarter than everyone here. People with little experience can offer a comment (albeit incorrect) and you decide to get angry...You are sad..

  • @jesusisbetter You've got issues.

  • @jesusisbetter Au contraire. The only task the moron driver has is driving the thing and he can't do it. That's incompetence whatever way you slice it. Your fussy little details are irrelevant.

No need to apologize I understand you're an emotion over sense type.

  • @jesusisbetter Is it possible he was doing this to show how much water it would take to "choke out" the engine?

  • @marco21falcon No, that destroyed his engine most likely. Definitely had to be checked after that.

  • @Sting3733 Yeah, but if its a PT6, its a free turbine, no physical connection to the compressor and turbines.

  • @marco21falcon. No. Shoving a propeller through water at high rpm and rapidly loading the gearbox on a turbo-prop is not a good plan, things break.

  • @jesusisbetter If you can stop kissing Jesus' ass for a second perhaps you will tell us what is happening?

  • @jesusisbetter

    Owned.

  • @jesusisbetter (1) it's not a floatplane "endorsement", it requires a practical test. (2) Turbines are extremely easy to fly (PIC typed in the 227). Idiot.

  • @rambocivilairpatrol chilllz out broski maybe he has a problem with being stuck in the lake?..........ask you AEO or something

  • damn what a jackass.

  • Quel couac quoi !!! :-))

  • Jackarse should have shut the plane down as soon as the prop hit the water, he also should have his pilots license pulled

  • Why pull his license? are you stupid?

  • what an idiot!

  • I are good pilot!

  • How much you wanna bet he had his gear accidentally lowered which caused sever drag making the plane pitch forward.

  • @shakenama having the gear down would cause alot of drag but nothing like this, by looking at how low he was in the water, either the tanks were full with water or else the floats had cracked and had filled with water.

  • @shakenama he cant gear up again inside water?

  • @shakenama If he had landed gear down he would have been upside down by the start of this video.

  • oh thats not super bright. Props + water = dollars. Especially with the sort of props on a turboshaft. A CPL presumably was controlling that thing. Man.

  • P.S. The PT-6 engine is a turbo prop not shaft. Turbo shaft are in helicopters.

  • Yeah, sadly people with a CPL or ATP can't fly a little plane like that for their life.

  • your fucking retarded. Anyone who flies for $ has CPL!

And the guy obviously was check out for floats, on that aircraft. U dont know what happenned so STFU.

    What licenses do you have?

  • God your like a fuckin dramatic woman, and who the hell said anything about money???? You don't know shit about what happened so don't act like you do!!!

And i have more licenses you will will ever have.

PPL, instrument, double engine ect... i doubt you have either so cunt, don't message me again if your gonna act like a fuckin dick!!! good day

  • hahaha, ye, and you know what I have because? you can read a Cristal ball?

I doubt they give out PPL license to noobs like you.

  • I hardly consider a 21 year old pilot a noob.

And i will bet my life that you don't have one license related to flying, you probably haven't even ever been in a beechcraft or PA28 or even something as simple as a 172, i have flown all of them. what am i saying you probably don't know what any of those are.

And really your name says it all (foamingaction) WTF...?

  • Sorry to burst your bubble, but I got my Glider license, PPL, I fly 172N, 172S, and the 180's on skies. Doing floats in the spring, and by end of the summer working for my CPL.

No I didnt fly a beachcraft or a PA28, but atleast I am not a faggit like you, who thinks he know sit all cuz it had a bit more time then me.

The type of guys like you, give us a bad name.

I have right now have 80 hours. Allot no? Is it none? no, am I a faggit like you no?

  • Ahh did i piss woo off, ahhhhh

It's funny how your acting like your some successful pilot, haha your probably some 12 yr/old who sits behind your pc all day.

And sorry to burst YOUR BUBBLE, but people who call others name are that name there self.

And besides dipshit, a faggit is a bundle of sticks.

You didn't succeed with vocabulary in school did ya...?

  • And a CPL...? yeah your right, you could never get an ATP

  • dude, your the one to make assumptions first. Just showing you how it works.

  • Nope not even close.

You are the one assuming i am in high school and aren't as far in flying as i am.

  • For i so called pilot you have great spelling.

  • yes, sir, cpt. Police Spell check.

If I have to remind you. We fly planes, we dont write books, or news paper articles.

Now, go fuck your self. This is youtube. I dont care about spelling u stupid fuck,

  • Sorry i just thought if you were smart enough to fly a plane you might be smart enough to learn to spell.

Oh thats right you dont read you, must fly those special plane's, the ones you dont need to read or write to lean anything about flying.

Well i bet thats what your mum and dad keep telling you.

Next time you come to Australia let me know i will meet up with you and see how big a man you are when you say those thing's to my face.

  • Did you ever fly a glider 505, 55 Puchacz? Blanik? NO so stfu, cuz I flown many things u never seen or even heard about.

  • I seriously doubt that.

And gliders don't count as a plane, it's a piece of fiberglass or whatever that floats glides thru the air.

  • As a glider pilot, you better take that first statement back and grow up.

The Oxford English Dictionary clearly states: "An aircraft [glider] capable of gliding and soaring in air currents...etc"

    OED is unquestionable
