Its actually true, if you look at the US News and World Report college rankings, UT is consistantly ranked above A&M. Further we have more programs that are ranked in the top 10 around the nation. Red McCombs School of business is ranked number 6 with their accounting program ranking first in the nation. Even our overall engineering program was ranked 10th in the nation, above A&M's.
Our Law School is ranked in the top 15 and is one of the hardest law school programs to get into in the nation. Lets also not forget being ranked 15th in the world and 9th in the nation as one of the top research universities. And sports hmmm well thats just a given im not even going to make a case for that. Not trying to say A&M is a totally bad school because it isnt. Im just saying UT is actually better.

The argument is not whether or not A&M beat us or not I think the score is pretty clear on that matter. The real argument is whether a 5 point victory in last 7 years constitutes a legitimate claim of bragging rights as the better football program in Texas. Its reasonable to say that one win in the last 7 years does not establish A&M's dominance over Texas; especially when the entire rivalry history is taken into consideration.

we did good until we got close to the red zone. then we would turn the ball over. if we would have scored on 2 of the other red zone visits you would not be saying this. so in a way we did "kick some longhorn ASSS!!!
