Tenergy batteries are the best thing for rustlers next to lipos only problem is if you do tons of runs in a day you will eventualy overheat the batteries and kill the cells. i have killed 2 so far.

yes brushless motor, ESC, and a pack of battery are getting over hot while high speed too long

mine goes faster than that on stock gearing and an 8 cell 4200mah tenergy pack. that's with the stock vxl system and stampede tires.

mine has hit 55 mph on 28/83. i measured it using a gps that i strapped to the truck.
