  • sound's like junk

  • Now that was funny.

  • Rock and/or Roll

  • This made me so happy whe n ifirst saw it. still does.

  • Love this group - they were original talented & very fun

  • So original! U dont get get that no more, i heard this track at the Exchange Hotel, Sydney in 1985

  • Love it , totoally ace

  • The Flying Lizards recorded one of the creepiest instrumentals I've ever heard. If someone out there in Youtubeland could upload "The Flood", it would be a welcome addition to these F.L. songs.

  • A masterpiece. If only people would laugh and create little music jokes like these, the world would definitely be a whole much better place to live. But at least, we have the Flying Lizards. Brillliant.

  • i love a rocking and a rolliing to this song

  • mornings i feel the same way, it catches the blah blahs as well as the cynical chic, a interpretation for the sophicated

  • I"m American but I can tell this is supposed to be funny. Maybe you have to be British to "get it".

  • This is great because its fucked up and weird. Its obviously done as at least half a joke. Fuck the world.

  • How can you call this a song?

  • total female controle rubbish. horrible.

  • This is rubbish!

  • A shame that deborah ever left the band the other singer that took over just did not cut it THOUGH if deborah hadn't left the flying lizards i would never had got to work with her and in all that time i never said to her MONEY thats what i want !!

  • How postmodernism could be fun and clever ?

Flying Lizards just match the right point between art and rock'n'roll

playing just a creativ attitude toward sound and images

with fuzzy and unpredictable promotionnal strategy.

FL are rares, clever and giftful with a variation size partcipation.

Three females singers and a few focus creation.

They are a step stone in Occidental creation of late xxth century,

bringing postmodernism to a humorus and creativ attitude.

  • If I ever propose to someone it will be via this song

  • is she a paraplegic?

  • at around 1:40 when the voice is slowed so it souds low, i always laught!

  • linn drum !

  • this band rocks man

its too bad they don't air this stuff anymore!

  • This version kicks so much ass! :-)

The first thing I heard by Flying Lizards was the single "Money" and it floored me. The first album I got my hands on was "Fourth wall" followed by "Top Ten". Both still sound just as fresh. When you refuse to follow other peoples rules your stuff doesn't seem to age like theirs does...

I recommend "Hands 2 take" or "Great balls of fire" as your next sample by them.

  • "When you refuse to follow other peoples rules your stuff doesn't seem to age like theirs does..."

    really well said!

  • Whoa !

  • Have you heard Benny Benassi/Love is gonna save us. Sounds like an affected

    version.

  • that was cool

  • thank you very much!

i've been wanting to hear tracks from the "top 10" album for 20 years! i quit bidding on the CD when it hit $20. it ended up selling for $98!

    talk about rare grooves!

  • dig that antigravity!

the Flying Lizards are wonderful. they remind me of hearing the lyrics to the Stones' 'Satisfaction' read as if by a stiff British stage actor, sometime back around 1970, and thinking it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard.

  • this vid trips me up so much

  • One of the most underrated bands of the 80's

  • It's been about twenty eight years now, and she still looks good...ish. Well, I'd do her. When I saw all that upside down stuff I remembered watching this video on a late night video show around 1980.

  • This was from the movie "Hiding Out" around 1980 (scene where they are making out in the Suzuki)

  • Just saw the movie on FLIX. I had to see who sung this song. I remember "Money" back when I was 11 in 1979.

  • Youtube is definitely the jike box of the planet. Even the best thing that happened on internet !

  • @eworlds Please look at my punk movie from this period, GIRL PACK. Tell me what you think. Type in Lisa Falour, please. No wait, that is an order.
