  • @thehararean You must be invited by them. However there are currently about 13,000 members so if you do either charitable work or become a missionary/Médecins Sans Frontières AND they notice you they MAY invite you.

  • Thank you for this video. Now I understand it better.

  • Oh my i cant bealive it so they really use our island name Malta and we really carry so many of their mark all around our island O-o verament incredible :D

  • Funny how actual members seem to be proud of the fact that people can only be invited unless of 'noble' birth.

This for me is more then enough reason to never want to join such an orginization which is not based on equal rights but the domination of an upper class.

Whatever happened to the vow of poverty. I think the king james mason bible even says that its easier for a camel to go thourgh a needle then a rich man going to heaven.

And throw away any individualism... dont u mean EGO

  • @pimps1nc : actually, it is not true that only noble people can be "invited". Moreover, it's not at all an invitation but a commitment. Otherwise it would be indeed a matter of ego and would be pretty ridiculous.

  • @boisgris Absolutely true. My father was member of the Order of Malta, as I am myself, and we have no "noble" title. Same thing for Freemasonry!

  • @darwincity how do i join

  • im with the order of malta Ireland ... marino unit in Dublin .. best unit ever

  • Greetings and compliments from a Dutch Knight.

  • Are you a Knight of the Malta, I am a Knight of Columba in England

  • you can only be invited. try to get a knight of the british empire at first and throw away individualism. so you have best changes to be invited, HAHA...

  • You can 'subscribe', but one has to be of noble birth to do that. Otherwise, you can indeed only be invited.

  • Isn't the Priory of Malta in Rome soverign and count as its own nation?

  • tikkunsoulam;

I am unfortunatly unable to help you as I am a Canadian Knight. I would suggest you look up contacts in the American Sub-Priory. They would be more than willing to help a fellow confrere.

  • God bless the Knights Hospitallers of my beloved country Malta.

  • God bless the Knights of Malta from a knight of Columba

  • Thank you for posting this video.

  • Who succeeded Fra Andrew Berthie as Grandmaster of the Order of St John? Could anybody tell me?

  • yea, its Fra Matthew Festing.

btw... i saw myself in this video. he truly was a wonderful man and i felt so honoured to have met him last year, a month before his death.

    may he RIP

  • As a Knight of Malta myself I can say that Fra Andrew was a wonderful man. Rest in peace brother.

  • How does a person join the Order?

  • You need to be nominated.

  • Hi friend, I am a Knight of Malta. I am trying to connect with other Knights of Malta in America. God Bless Fra. Andrew, he was a good man and Prince.

  • tikkunsoulam: You say you are a Knight of Malta? To which association do you belong in the United States? I am a Knight of Malta.

  • May he Rest in well deserved Peace and his successor continue his work.

  • R.I.P

  • May he rest in peace.
