I love this video! I was 6 months old when I lost my eye, stupid cancer. I grew up with no depth reception so I am used to it, the only time It messes with me is when I am drinking lol. What kind of prosthetic, magnet?
Hey man! I have the same thing as you, but I was wondering..... do you wear contacts? Or do you just have 20/20 vision in that one eye? Because Im trying to get my mom to give me contacts, but she just says that I have "to protect it". Well thanks!
Since you've had a while to adjust since you lost your eye, how is your depth perception and general proprioception? I just lost my eye 16 months ago, at 26 years old, and I'm still having a tough time adjusting.
@Warrenmcj My depth perception isn't that bad. I played basketball and baseball when I was younger. Played tennis all throughout high school as well. I've had about 3 car accidents, 1 that was my fault lol. But I drive a subaru STi now and I simply love driving. I'm sorry to hear for your loss man, I know it's tough, but you'll be stronger in the end. What exactly are you having trouble with? I reccomend you go check out losteye.com - there's a lot of good people who help with everything.
@UthinkUgotitbad: i've seen people use their fingers and shit it kinda grosses me out lol. yeah like a swab kinda thing? thats what my ophthamologist uses when i go. i have gpc (giant perpecular conjunctivitis) shit sucks bro, be sure to clean and polish it often.
U have a suction stick 1st video I seen with someone using it I'm getting my 1st prosthetic in two weeks and while he was fitting it he used one of them sticks he said I'll get one ..I can't wait.....
@omnitype007 - Hi man, ive got shot in the eye with an air rifle when i was 14 and they managed to save my eye but over the years its detiorated and ive recently been talking to my eye doctor about getting a prostetic eye. obviously he can only answer some of my questions on it, but what does it feel like to take out and replace is it painful? and do you ever have people notice and ask because i would be havin it done mainly on a cosmetic point of view i would really appreiciate your view on it.
Just don't tell a 10 minute story on how you lost your eye like that bmain1 guy did...that just sounds boring. Although, your story might be interesting since it was with a toy arrow, lol.

Losing an eye with a bow and arrow.
Epic way to lose an eye, and I mean it seriously, not making fun out of you.

Tell how you lost your eye, everyone's story is interesting whether it was an accident or an ocular illness :-)
