  • hmmm.... ...that push at the beginning seems pretty logical... i will try that tomorrow...

  • you can certainly try. might be a bit easier on the wrists. play around with the bars and exercise protocol in general. that's part of the iron game. often what you find is that someone has already figured it out.

  • Is it okay to do this with a curling bar?

  • Take some less weight sir ,you're cheating with your legs :(

  • I have a GREAT way on how to do standing military press! Check my channel page its the first video!

  • Andy Harglesis never lies, he can bench 430lbs, squat almost 700lbs ATG and he's only 13, all-natural, no drugs, and can do every lift with perfect utilized form. :D

He can also do 76 pull ups in a row from dead hang, and can rack pull almost 800lbs.

  • @andyharglesissupport And also defies the laws of time, by never aging?

  • @iWorkoutToday There's no laws of time.

  • @andyharglesissupport You, sir, are a cunt.

  • @andyharglesissupport show us proof

  • Andy is the real deal, beetches.

I support and sponsor him now, and I get paid for doing it. ;D

  • I'm 13 and I'm incrediblycut!

  • @AndyHarglesis How have you been 13 for 3 years?

  • @boston2O13 I've never even been on YouTube for over a year, so how is that possible? LOL.

  • @AndyHarglesis When I first got into lifting weights two years ago, you were already in full swing under the account name "13andincrediblycut." You were doing the exact same thing you do now. People were, at that point, already calling you out and had been for quite a few months. That gets us to at least 2.5 years. Listen, I'm not going to get in a steroid fight with you, because plenty of people have already done that, but make your point without lying about your age.

  • Hard work and good nutrition.

  • wow hes breathing so hard for 135 lbs?

  • I am glad someone attempted to upload a Standing MP video, that is too much weight, NEVER throw your back into this exercise, and the man is leading with his left and than it looks like he goes right on the last one, I would guess his dominant arm. Thanks for uploading though

  • Title says standing press. Description says military press. Performing a push press in video.

    "Don't hyper-extend the back."

You mean like in the video?

    "Keep the chest out..."

Unlike how he's leaning back in the video?

  • Just call it "Military Press with a One-Quater Squat, Double-Compound Exercise"!

    You're good to go!

  • you DO NOT bend your knees when doing this

  • im 13 only drug-free and I can standing-press over 300lbs for reps with ease. :)

And no this ain't BS I've actually done it and have it on film and will upload soon.

  • @13andincrediblycut

    You're 13 and you're full of shit

  • @13andincrediblycut your 13 and full of shit BTW my dick does standing military presses yeah ! even thats more believable than the shit that comes out of your underaged dirty little milk tooth ridden mouth now fuck off and go end yourself in a dark and dingy corner .

  • @13andincrediblycut so where is your video you must be 17 by now and built like a mountain gorrila???

  • @smilsmff I'm actually 13 still. lol. :P

But yes, my lifts have increased tremendously! XD

  • @AndyHarglesis so if this is the same person who spends his entire free time after huge workouts , you should just start your own website/ youtube and keep your NEGATIVE opinions to your self , as one day you will be 26 36 and wont appreciate negative comments about yourself from some o ne who wasnt even born when you started working out

  • @smilsmff At soon as you can make that chicken scratch that you wrote understandable then I'll respond. :)

  • nice leg workout

  • The exercise is called "press". Many people call it "overhead press" to distinguish it from the "bench press". Truth is "press" is always overhead. All other exercises (bench press, military press etc) are variations. Gaining momentum by using the legs is cheating

  • So what internet forum did you get this exercise from? This is a push press (notice you are using your legs to gain momentum), a military press would have your legs standing still and all of the work being done by your shoulders/arms.

  • WTF THIS IS A PUSH PRESS

  • Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You might remember me from such films as "How to get fit with tricep kickbacks" or "Squats are overrated you silly".

  • Holy shit, yeah I DO remember you!! :p

  • @Apjooz

    I lol'd. I lol'd hard.

  • push press..
