I remember when we used to play at The Lonestar Cafe in NYC back in the 80s. Everyone else would be downstairs trying to meet babes (the waitresses were quite awesome too), but Larry - he'd be upstairs in the dressing room, practicing. Damn. Larry was born with an instrument in his hands.
I was sooooo sorry when he left Dylan's band! He offered A LOT!!
