What the crap are you guys talking about Kakashi had zero chance of defeating Deva Path Pain. The reason: Naruto had a hard time, evne having Sage Mode. Naruto almost got defeated on one occasion and then Hinata stepped in and Pain Shinra Tenseied her and she (nearly) died. then Naruto EXPLODED and used the Kyuubi's power. Then he started IMA FIRIN MA LAZERing on Pain. Kakashi had no chance since not evne Kyuubi Naruto could beat Deva Path. All Deva Path was doing as pushing and puling too XD

@LinkAwakened To be fair kakashi wouldve beaten the Deva Path if the Asura path haden't blocked the chidori, but to be fair thats also because chouji and his dad helped them. But who knows we only got to see them fight one on one for a few seconds

She's still nothing special. She's like the female version of Rock Lee, being really badass in her own right, but Naruto has become a war between freaks of the highest caliber, and even lesser freaks, like Kakashi, have been far outclassed by those who can summon massive amounts of power from basically nowhere.

Of course, Kakashi might pull more mangekyo moves out of his ass and become a little more powerful.

@Yonkage Don't underestimate Kakashi, he was to be the next hokage and is Might Guy's level or even better. Remember the gates stuff??? :D Kakashi has a way to make up for the extra power and chakra of his enemies. He is almost as smart as Shikamaru as Chouji said. The only enemy that could've killed him easily was Itachi Uchiha. Pain defeated him fast only because Kakashi didn't know his powers.

Even Pain said not killing someone like you would be trouble in the long run, if Kakashi had the info that Naruto had about Pain maybe even he could defeat him.

And btw his magekyo is very powerful, with just his eyesight he can tear down your arm, and remember the time when he sent a whole explosion from Deidara to another dimension, the of power of Kakashi reduces the ultra massive amounts of power to zero.

@TheUnkow sorry to burst your bubble...as much as I love kakashi, I must say that he won't even have the slightest chance in defeating deva pain. Kakashi is fast but not fast enough to land a hit on deva. His mangekyo is indeed powerful but not without a price; extreme chakra depletion and can only be used a handful of times and needs extraordinary focus. Although i do believe he'll manage to bring two pains even if he had info on them, there's no way he'll counter shinra tensei.

@etherealshinobi11 Kakashi discovered how shinra tensei works, he even managed to survive few hits after the first time he saw it, Kakashi makes a great use of clones and distractions, Naruto wasn't able to defeat pain without the help of the Nine tails and that is after Nagato used so much chakra to fight the vilage shinobi so Kakashi and Naruto are similar level. Naruto maybe has more power and so but Kakashi knows much better how to use his own.

@TheUnkow Kyuubi is a part of Naruto's being just like Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan. Kakashi sure is smart enough to to have figured the time gap of shinra tensei but his speed isn't good enough as you have witnessed in both manga and anime and ultimately he died fighting. And isn't the prophecy enough to be a proof to you? Besides Kakashi has a low chakra level compared to Naruto, so Sage Mode is needed to counter the six pains, heck even Kakashi said that Naruto has surpassed him.
