Nope its Beta 2. Microsoft released the first beta before this one. It looked very similar to Windows Live Messenger 8.5 with minor changes and tweaks. Keep in mind that the first beta of 9.0 didn't have the visual changes that 9.0 beta 2 has.

Try Re-Installing The Program/Updating it. If that doesn't work there is something probably Wrong with your Msn. Because the actual program itself is in a beta it rejects some windows live e-mail addresses. I seriously don't know why Microsoft Hasn't Fixed the Problem. It messed up my old msn i don't use so when it will be fixed i have no idea. If you experience Further problems switch back to the 8.5 Release until 9.0 comes out of its beta and into a full release.

You can change the text color in Windows Live Messenger its self. As for Messenger Plus Live they have not made a compatible version Simply because its still in a beta. Expect a compatible version of Messenger Plus Live when Windows Live Messenger 2009 comes out of the Beta that its currently in.

You Probably have the wrong NET Framework edtion or it might be corrupt search Ms Update for Net Framework if its not that then im guessing you might have a virus or a program or something on the computer thats closing msnmsgr (windows live messenger)
