Doug Kershaw was the first concert my wife and I went to back in 76 and it is as good now as it was then, Johnny Cash put on a good concert but it seemed like Doug had more fun. These videos bring back alot of memories that we shared in this first 36 years. Thanks for putting them up.

I agree. I love authentic Cajun the best, but Doug is a close second. He just oozes that Cajun joy & beat that epitomizes zydeco for me.

And hey, why argue - we can enjoy both kinds.

While I understand that DK is interested in entertaining than displaying cultural music, it's like going to Taco Bell for authentic mexican food. It's just not the same.
