  • Odd that Hughes was able to perform so well before the committees and in the interviews when he was already falling apart mentally.

  • @jksonny Paradoxically there is really something to that. I'm a diagnosed ocd, bipolar and minor tourettes, which I believe hughes ALSO had. For some reason, when I'm in a moment of righteous indignation where you're in the right to speak truth with conviction, it seems all the symptoms subside. Even just talking helps the ticks go away (for me). It's sort of a release of that energy but in a pointed way that helps focus. Sorry that's poorly worded and written...

  • @ryanranger That's interesting and it might explain a good deal about Hughes. Over the years, even when Hughes was sitting naked, filthy and full of codeine in blacked-out hotel rooms, he was able to conduct complex business dealings over the phone. Maybe the ability/necessity to focus on something besides his illness also provided some relief from his symptoms.

  • I love this Howard Hughs stuff. A real "F-You" kind of guy, and not affraid to say it to someones face! A strange man, but a real man.

  • Again i am sorry for the sound and picture quality. If anyone can tell me how to do it better please let me know.Have many many hours of footage that i would like to Post..The Titles of the Documentaries that i found the footage is..

1.Howard Hughes-The Man and the Madness

    2.The Passions of Howard Hughes

    3.The American Aviator

  • andrew ryan ~ i tell ya

  • I would love to get my hands on footage of the full hearing. Do you know where I might be able to find it?

  • @sdegroot1

I dont believe thats available. If so it would be in DC in the Library of Congress. But you can look into these..

1.Howard Hughes-The Man and the Madness

    2.The Passions of Howard Hughes

    3.The American Aviator

  • Howard Hughes should be remembered as an adventurer, an innovator, someone who had a great vision for the future and has left a great legacy. It's a genius.

  • What program is this from ?

  • "The Aviator" (movie) really blows. This footage clearly shows Leonardo looks NOTHING like Howard let alone probably a foot and a half shorter ! Tommy Lee Jones was way more convincing in "The Amazing Howard Hughes" (1977).

  • @Johnnysynth hello, well I think if you looked at my video, no honest to G-d I am not promoting but, just saying, you may too agree it shows Howard in a good light! as is here i love this series, i am not American but french Canadian and am in love with Hughes, he was so great a man in my thoughts, do you agree? i hope you all my watch my film , only as a tribute like here with the superb courage he shows! Respectfully and sincerely,

    Rayna

  • @RaynaKapek

rayna i have became a Hughes enthusiasts over the fast 5 or so years... this was indeed his really last shinning moment to show case his greatness.. this clip and the others means so mush to me. people think of the bat shit crazy Hughes and not one of the greatest men of the 20th century.. after these hearings did you know groups of people pushed for ' Hughes for president' across America?

  • @RaynaKapek Thank you for NOT answering my query as to the source of "your" footage.

  • @Johnnysynth Sorry,

Being away on holiday in Europe for the summer before classes resume I hardly can be blamed for not rushing to look this, please dont be angry w/me? I got all the still pictures of the HK Boat-plane from my relative who just recently visited Mcminville Oregon Museum where the giant plane is kept preserved at, I am more interested in HOWARD HUGHES THE MAN his REAL life but only looped in some footage of the Aviator into it at then wishing I had the genuine footage into it. k?

  • @Johnnysynth

sorry i disagree and think Leo not getting the academy award for best actor was a crime.. Leo was dead one from all the clips Ive watched and all the reading Ive done on Hughes.

  • thanx for the vids.. this is the most raw footage i have ever seen... He is an inspiration to me and I cant get enough.

  • @robotkilla518

  • @4jeremylynchem

Please someone tell him! I'm afraid I don't know how to do it either. Can I ask where you got this footage from, I am very interested in Mr. Hughes and have been looking for decent documentaries for a while. And thank you for the videos.

  • the worst video on-you tube, dont shoot tv footage

  • At the time it was the best i can do for the people that do appreciate the footage even if it did not come out perfect...

  • @4jeremylynchem don't get me wrong I was only commenting on the image quality, not the content, I was interesting in Howard Hughes because I seen the Aviator which I really enjoyed I take any criticism back on saying it was the worst - Ive seen worst. my apologies.

  • @4jeremylynchem

Sir, it's 2011, what the heck?

  • is he an illuminati ???

  • Dont think he was..None of my research shows..Most likely he would not even be able to follow them or their rules.

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow, just thought of this. Hughes V Tripp. TWA V PanAm. I know Hughes won because he was the better man. I'd love to have flown with him on the Hercules, she's a beauty. Sadly neither TWA or PanAm exist today & tragically both ended violently. One thing for sure the legacy left by Howard Hughes will live on forever.

  • @MsCustomerCare if you see what this guy has done in his live on wiki, i'm really stunned.

  • Thanks Very Much. Your material is EXCELENT!!!! Congratulations!

  • @every2007

Thank u.Have much more to post but dont best way to do it..Let me know if u can help provide info on how. Thanks again..

  • steam strait to your computer instead of using your cam and recording your tv

  • @BAC1001 Describe how to stream straight to your computer.

  • If you could make the audio louder that would be great.
