  • Yo Jay-Z I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Duane and Brando made the best Castlevania rap of all time. OF ALL TIME.

  • Gag me with spoon. This is a blasphemy towards Konami

  • illuminati

  • I'm not much of a rap person, but mad respect for pulling this off.

  • D: what the fuck?

  • I like how rappers can't even stay on their own beats. Sad times we live in. -.-

  • @medivalme lol

  • Haha. Castlevania has the best video game soundtrack ever. I don't like rap though. I'm more of a metal head. But this is really cool.

  • is this a real song

  • @mkfan678 That's a dumb question, you idiot. Jay-z's acapella is from the Blueprint's "The Ruler's Back". God your such an idiot.

  • @Jemini29944 Who the hell are you

  • @Jemini29944 Ima about to tell you something you cant understand so Du-te dracului Cine dracu' tu esti tu Cretinu dracu

  • @mkfan678 You've just registered yourself completely irrelevant...... Who's next?

  • FUCK THE NWO

  • Decent smooshin' thar. They combine well.

  • fecking crap nigger ....go away!

  • Really good stuff. . .

  • Dude, ignore these haters. They're gonna hate.

This shit goes so hard. Great work man. The transition at 1:08 is so nice.

Also, that hi-hat pattern is sick

  • well.... i like the music, but his lyrics are a bit depressing

  • OH GOD!!!!!!!!!! What the fuck? I want to kill myself now. Great fucking way to ruin a awesome song. How is this possible? This is like when tristar made that shitty remake of Godzilla. Absolutely horrible. 128 people missed the dislike button. Damn Jay-Z. What is his problem?

  • @alexgodzillafan3328 What's Jay-Z's problem? What's YOURS? You're a moron. It's called a remix, not a song-killer. If you don't like rap, don't click on this. You're not nearly as idiotic as the other guy I have to tell to shut the fuck up, but you're still an idiot nonetheless. Don't even comment on these kinds of videos if you're going to post your worthless hate.

  • @SpikerzBello Listen, I hate rap. My problem, rap and this song were combined. If you witnessed your friend getting murdered, you would be pissed. Well, Jay z just murdered one my favorite songs, so I have every right to be pissed. Anyways, I don't care if you call me an idiot, because you actually like this crap, so I have no respect for your opinion, or anything else you have to say, because it is all worthless crap.

  • @alexgodzillafan3328 Your "Friend" getting "Murdered" has nothing to do with this you fucking loony. Jay-Z did not make this song, either. Do you have an education? The junk you type is giving the impression that you don't. The more I think about it, the more I think that you're little story about your "friend" is 100% bullshit.

  • @SpikerzBello As I said before, nothing you say means anything to me. I was just saying that if something that was important to you was absolutely destroyed and mutilated, it would piss you off. Castlevania is one of the things I care about, and here it has been mutilated and destroyed. I have every right to be pissed off, and I will not waste my time on whatever crap you have to say to me, so as of now, I will never spend even 1 second to reply to the useless crap that you say to me.

  • @alexgodzillafan3328 Cool. Love how you didn't call my out on my claim against your "Friend" story. Of course you won't respond, you've been caught in a lie. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you ended up commenting back on this. The only thing that's really mutilated and destroyed is your brain. Good going.

  • @SpikerzBello Allow me to explain this for your feeble mind, since our good friend Alex was actually using a simile (Not Metaphor, but probably the same for your mind.). He compared the combination of this piece of 'music' with Heart of Fire like having a friend being murdered. He liked Castlevania, and to see it combined with such a piece of terrible music was just like that song he loved being destroyed itself.

He was never saying anything about a RL friend dying, you're just retarded.

  • @alexgodzillafan3328 you good sir. have earn my respect.

  • @overlordalan18 Thankyou. I appreciate it. However, there is no need for "sir". I am only 13 years old. Thanks anyways.

  • ......42 True castlevania fans saw this vid....and i shall be #43

  • @meteorseven3 I make #44.

  • NES music is so versatile.

  • What a bunch of butt hurt whiners :O

  • You can put any singing from rappers/hip hop singers and it'll be good... Cuz it's so shitty that it is adaptable to anything, IT HAS NO SYMPHONY.

Fuck you Magikano, u screwed the song...

  • Some soundtracks are better left unvocalized...Heart of Fire is one example....

Some soundtracks should keep the castle organ instead of rapping...Heart of Fire is again another example...

  • Wow you just completely ruined my childhood. Kill yourself....

  • I'm a Castlevania Purist, but you used the right Artist to match with this song. Jay-z is awesome.

  • Wow...it's bone chilling...i never thought they would fit. 5 stars

  • Surprising combination. Kind of fun, though.

  • I'd like to get the beat to this, an instrumental version

  • That sounded really good. I can't stand rap but that fit hand-in-hand

  • horrible... just horrible

  • Jay Z & Castlevania...gotta give it a 5.

  • Sounds damn good

  • @socom117 Agreed...

  • never woulda thought this went together, but its on point.

  • @Mako1215 This is actually true for many rap songs. Most rap songs are more "spoken" than "sang", so there's no friction between the music and the vocals. This is actually a chief principle in the workings of "freestyle". This is because most rap music tends to be more about the message than the delivery, and depends more heavily on instrumentation to make it sound good than other genres do. Hence why good freestylers will fluctuate their pitch more when freestyling without music than with.

  • @Mako1215 Only because Castlevania is simply amazing. lol

  • dude its amazing that u can put jay z to castlevania

  • aye hit me up magikino im a vampire rapper

    vampirepimp666@gmail

  • This is actually good I have listened to a lot of people remix things together and it sounds really fucked up. This was on point I really don't like Jay-Z tho but it was still on points I can not deduct points good work.

  • Amen to that man.

  • lmfao indeed

  • Not bad.

  • the only person who can make a video game song a good rap song is J Dilla or MF Doom

  • agreed

  • This is really nice... Give us a longer one!

  • more like crap remix

  • Total garbage - dog shit for life

    Ruined the track.

But guess your used to garbage.

  • Comment removed

  • I love the original Castlevania song, and this is a decent Jay-Z song, but the mashup here does not do either justice.

  • you guys ae fucking stupid this is awesome

  • that hand gesture, he was sued by diamond dallas page!>

  • This ruins one of the best NES songs of all time, honestly.

  • GO MAGIKANO! you tell em

  • @Magikano learn how to match vocals to the tempo first lol....

  • @Magikano I'm not at all concerned with the money you do or do not make from these videos. I'm just saying that I didn't like it. I don't give a good god damn if you surpass Bill fucking Gates in earnings, to be honest.

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus yeah it kills it

  • @DrJohnCockwalrus Any rap remake of a video game songs sucks period

  • Not a bad idea, the orchestration behind it just sounds weak by comparison.

  • Horrible !!!!!!

  • I'm sorry, but this is horrible.

  • Comment removed

  • Jesus....so horrible...

  • ROFLMFAO

  • thanks man =3

  • LOL!! Great!! Good job man!

  • Awesome.

  • I liked the 2pac v. Bloody tears mix better , but I'd love to hear more. This shit is fucking tight.

  • not bad, ima make my own blend usin the same sample and song, and reply...keep an ear out for 24hrs

  • IniHeritSkill

    New math: 24h = 3 weeks

  • no i just didn't put it out cuz it didn't sound good to me, true producer doesn't put out stuff they aren't proud of...calm yahself child

  • lol@child

Anyway...you give up or something? you had like 504 hours

  • naw moved on to other projects ill prolly resume again durin da fall...i was tryna sample it differently so it wouldnt sound the same as his

  • where can i download it

    its fucking sick

  • HOv HOv Hov 4 shizzzeay

  • Cool combination of rap and vg music. Nice job.

  • the beat was harder then the song even if he bit big.

  • Hmm...I like it. Whoever else likes it should search "We G's" by Prinz & Kool G Rap. It uses the Final Fantasy 7 "Battle Theme". It actually sounds good.

  • I don't like hip hop, but this isn't bad.

For people ho can't stand hip hop period, isn't it a bit dumb to click this video then bitch about it?

  • @DuskBeforeDawn2008 Well, this shit shouldn't be appearing as a related video, should it. I was simply listening to Aria of Sorrow's version of this song, when I saw it in the related videos section. I was confused. I thought I was having a nightmare or something. I clicked on it to make sure that I real, and it was. I know that I don't need to listen to this, but as a Castlevania fan, I deserve to know that it exists, and I have every right to be upset about it.

  • @DuskBeforeDawn2008 People who don't like rap click on this video to voice their opinion about this video. And i hope he gets sued for copyright infringement. And this video sucks IMO.

  • @DuskBeforeDawn2008 Here's a thought.....maybe HIP-HOP doesn't give a flying fuck whether or not you like them. Because it's a multi-billion dollar a year business and they are kicking rock, country, and Pop's asses on the charts. So maybe, just maybe, HIP-HOP is far beyond what your feeble mind can handle both musically and financially. HIP-HOP AND YOU DON'T STOP!

  • @DuskBeforeDawn2008 Well, when someone fucks up something as awesome as Castlevania THIS gloriously, there are bound to be complaints.

  • I think it's supremely rude how people can just rag on someone for doing something they obviously like doing, it's a fucking hobby you dickweeds! Stop releasing your pent-up dickishness and go get laid instead of thinking up ways to piss people off because they made something that you, in your opinion, didn't like. You are entitled to your opinion, but you don't have to be a complete asshole while expressing it.

  • i completely agree. ppl on here can b pretty big assholes

  • O.k. I Wanna be mad when people start bangin on rap, but some people are right, because sometimes it, does just suck. I listen to a little of everything but rap the least now of days

  • Nice! I thought this was totally going to suck. Glad to see I was wrong!

  • ay fuck you im a rapper and i can play Get Out Of My Yard by Paul Gilbert... on the piano.

  • well its not hard per-say its definitely more technical then any other type of music especially in progressive metal since the solos and arpeggios are being played for real and not synthesized thats for sure

  • wow, childish remark from a grown ass man

  • Childish remark compared to what? All the remarks about from other jackasses saying that rap sucks. If these people can say shit like that then i will too. Fuck people like SpiritMolecule1, that stupid dumb asshole. SpiritMolecule1 is a real faggot ass pussy and he can go shut that heavy metal shit down his throat. You damn dumbshit.

  • Yea but from what I see, you started it by calling out metalheads saying it sux.

I don't discriminate when it comes to music, but if i'm not into it some generes or songs i'll find something else. SpiritMolecule is a dumb fuck though

  • Yo dude chill with The heavy metal shit love that music and i got no beef with rap. What you like is what you like but dont insult my music like that.

  • *LOL!* You are awesome for making this. The music and the rhymes just go so well together. I'm a die hard Castlevania fan so I really enjoyed this.

  • SHIT! CastleVania, stage 5--reaper's dungeon. I hear Jay-Z uses all sorts of video game melodies tho.

VG music does not suck. The original composer people are probably flattered as all hell.

  • Now it's stage 5 - Rappar's dungeon

  • Haa. LOLZ

SUCH irony! :) This motha-fuckah definitely played CV if he is making such an ode and naming it THAT damn close to the source...I'll bet he even took out D!

  • IMO most of the best music now is coming out on video games, pc or otherwise and they have REALLY talented composers. My fave. is Jeff Van Dyck he composed a whole bunch of funky Chinese beats for a game called Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom using traditional Chinese instruments and he also composed Gergorian chants + Arabic music for a game called Medieval 2: Total War, thats talent in a time when most bands can hardly find a respectable drummer.

  • This remix go hard. Well done, Magikano.

  • these should be used in an actual castlevania game -_- seriously

  • the nigger richer than you

  • damn where can I get the instrumental to this

  • oh hell..you're castlevania fan.. i wanna hug you nigga.. hell

  • Damn, Jay-z is off beat here, the Pac one is better........

  • pac was a ballerina, no joke, look it up on wikipedia.

    no joke

    pac was a fake prick

he was representing the west, but he came from new york

  • Dude, I am not a pac fan at all & I am actually big Jay-z fan. Jay-z voice & flow dont go good with this beat.......unlike pac's...... I already about all those things about pac

  • your an idoit. honestly, you shouldnt be able to listen to hip hop. He went to art school and did drama, fucking stupid ass, one of the most poetic rappers ever. And he was fucking from maryland dumb shit, so get you facts straight when you are gonna hate on somebody who isnt even fucking alive

  • Pac's mother was a crackhead, he had no father and the coast he came from turned its back on him. He's real. You are a trick.

  • i hope u dont mean the east coast cuz he turned his bak on us

  • He means the west, Snoop was his boy, Knight had him killed.

  • Care to explain? Sorry if I'm not too educated about rap history. Knight?

I know some history. But my tastes in music vary quite a bit. I pretty much do whatever, whenever. I'm poor, but I'm one happy motherfucker.

Yeah, I think I have also heard a Bloody Tears rap. Its by a now dead guy...2 pac?

There is also a band called Jedi Knights doing something like it...it's all craaazy, but cool.

Nice to meet another VGM afficinado.

  • "What is a gangsta? A miserable little pile of secrets!"

  • NICE, "He was brought here by rappers, Who wish to pay Jay-Z Tribute!"

"Tribute?! Jay-z Steal's women's souls, and makes them his bitches!"

"Perhaps the same could be said of all Rap stars..."

  • BUT ENOUGH TALK,HAVE A RAP BATTLE!

  • So you have this great tune and you have some singer with a bad voice telling us how awesome he is over it?

  • yep thats jay-z for u lol

  • good job

  • bloody tears by army of the pharaohs is the best check it out

  • this shit is bumpin fams 5/5

  • what is the name of the real song?

  • rulers back, off the blueprint

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good 4.15stars

  • can I get the mp3 by any chance?

  • EVEN BETTER!

  • damn, this is pretty sick

  • im not saying this song sucks its allright but i like the 2pac bloody tears better it would be cool if he can some how mix vampire killer with some 2pac song i dunno

  • u got 2 make more

  • good job man

  • hahahaha you've got problems !! this rap rules !! where did you get the idea to make this ?? XD

  • Wonder if they will use this in the live action Castlevania in 2009?

  • its ok.

  • i like the bloody tears 2pac remix better but this is realy good

  • yea good job this is bumpin

  • Castlevania's awesome, Jay-Z's awesome we got a win win situation!! Great beat.

  • nice job!

  • i agree with Almightblackdragon. this was awsome

  • Dude, you should see if you can find a way of sending this to Jay Z (myspace? Fanmail?) and see what he thinks about stuff like this. Rap video game remixes with real rappers lyrics? Killer.

  • Just Blaze does this type of thing all the time...Listen to Hovi Baby...Megaman anybody???

  • Ooh~! This one is MUCH BETTER!

    I quite like it.

Please put Jay-Z to something like Bloody tears or vampire killer from the castlevania games.

The 2pac, bloody tears was a failure to me... Then again, I'm not too big on 2pac.

    mp3 please?

  • the beats tight

  • That was damn cool.

  • awesome mix man

  • Awesome. I love videogame music remixes and hip-hop.

  • I like it. Its Hot!

  • not bad

  • by the way, Jay-z isthe most consistant and more versitile(i don't think i spelled it right) than nas or anyone out. name one who can cover as much topics than jay-z and still be hot. and don't say lil wezzy nor nas. only tupac( but biggie has the beter flow

  • wll, At least we can both agree against lil wayne

  • lol yeah

  • hmmmm.... not bad i b grovin

  • very good man...very very good, make one from strider for playstation

  • Jay-z's music seemed to be aimed at mainstream as his career went on, so he is far more sucessful than Nas. But nas doesn't go for mainstream, and many think he's the greatest mc alive. So sucess doesn't make you a more talented artist. If were talking about selling records, then say 50 cent or Nelly is the greatest rapper (god forbid). I think Nas is a more skilled MC than Jay, but they are both in my top 5 below Rakim.

By the way, good job on this track.
