I thought the new album was actually pretty good tbh, quite a welcome return to more of a sound that I like. Thats not to say the last couple of albums have been bad, but in my opinion they certainly haven't grabbed me like anything pre-clayman. Reroute to remain was pretty good, the others after than got progressively less interesting bar the odd song here and there imo. The new album its got elements of old and new and I quite like it.

@miichalis You should be a fan of the band because you like their music. If In Flames put out an album that sounded like some pop act, I would not like it. The point being that bands change, you say they are still good in 2011 and I agree. Though I guess you should be a fan of the music, not "the band". But if the band "always, without fail" puts out music you like, then be a fan of the band. I'd say i'm an In Flames fan, because I like "a majority" of their albums, but not all.
