Fudge. Dude, why can't I undo the mesh extraction?? When I try to undo, it won't clear the extraction, it just added more and then undo just undoes the mask i think, though I can't be sure bc I can't see it under the extraction. HELP! Lol this is driving me crazy when I can't undo stuff. WHY??
@OneOpinionMore I know that Sculptris is not as good as Zbrush, but my question was why I can't use it. A friend of me has Sculptris and can do anything with it, but I can't do nothing.
@NvH1231 sculptris is far from being the same as zbrush. what i know from sculptris is that it's purely sculpting, that's it, no extracting mesh or masking or polygroups or any of the zbrush features.
im using Zbrush 4 and its full version . i was trying to find way to make cloth and i watch ur tutorial it was very helpful but something went wrong for me that i cant draw on the shirt when im using brush lets say "Deco3" or any other brush to make some effects on the shirt . its only effect the edge or the shirt wish make it look so stupid . also i active the symmerty mood and im using the mask tool to draw the shirt .
Whenever I try to use extract mesh Zbrush freezes, is there something I can do to fix this? I have 4gb of ram and a good video card so I don't know why it is doing this.
Awesome tutorial. Just started learning zbrush, Being an idiot i Went through a whole process of going back and forth between zbrush and maya to get a pretty horrible result. Thanks for the awesomeness.
for some reason I am working on a mesh but every time I start moving at times I'll be in edit mode with draw on and it just starts bring in a double of the mesh I am working on. Anyone know why it does this? Makes me want to export it out and use it in mudbox. Which I tried but then I just get subdivide errors and can't use it in there either.
Thank you for this video! It has helped me understand a lot! I only worked with basic modeling of objects and things before now, but I've decided to plunge into clothing. I work in Zbrush as well as Maya, and I had a feeling that creating the clothing would be easier for me in Zbrush. I am completely self taught so I had no idea where to start. But this is very helpful Thank you! And ignore the breast/slutty clothing comments. Probably a bunch of girls jealous bc they don't have boobs!
So hilarious that people are still replying to my comment i made ages ago. I am a man btw in a great relationship. I just feel that the image of women in the media and entertainment reflects a very very small portion of the women in this world. Not every woman has a perfect waste or perky double c's. I was just making an opinionated statement. I do appreciate the tutorial but I am a fervent believer in respecting the image of women as well. Didnt aim to get flamed. but hey its youtube...
How can I create cloth simulation with models with displacement maps in 3ds max. I know how to make cloth simulation in 3ds max using the low poly charater, but displacement makes that the cloth isn't fit to that character with a displacemnt map (which I can make in Zbrush). So I want a cloth simulation between a model textured in Zbrush and a cloth made in 3d max - is that possible.

why do people always assume female 3d models always need to have huge tits....seriously man...these guys need to get over their fantasyland ideas of how a female body should look.
@tazbo28 What we 'need' to do is nobody's concern but our own concerning our work. To be frank, the video was never intended to be received as it has. Simply put, your presumption is an insult. If you can learn from the video, look past the fake digital body and learn.. If not, complain over videos intentionally extolling breasts.
@Screenwriter805 Well, I'm a girl and actually her boobs are right size, I have naturally big breasts. I see nothing wrong with this since many girls in my country are naturally big breasted. Other than that thank you for posting this I learned a lot from this video. Keep posting they are really good.

@freakylittlegnome I had the same issue but had to figure it out myself...With your subtool selected (the thing you extracted) go to masking and click clear. You should now be good to go.
