  • Smooooooooth dude.

  • WHAT STICKS ARE YOU USING??!!!

  • just got this piece about a week ago, the paradiddles, flam accents and the swiss armies are scramin fast, props to you for gettin that fast.

  • What head you got on there?

  • What drum are you using?

  • it looks like you are using 7A concert sticks...

  • those sticks are TWIGS!!!

  • Now that is a sick sound!

  • great form and i am playing this next year as a freshman in highschool

sounds like i will b havin fun

  • Wow dude. Use more finger.

  • I just finished gettin this solo down. i liked the playing i could only see a few minor slips, other than that id say the only thing you should work on is your hands during your double stroke rolles, those fingers should be under that friggin stick.

    Good job

  • i want to see how a marching snare drum sounds on a drum set

  • Awesome solo! I haven't heard Stamina since I was in high school. I played for Solo & Ensemble when I was in tenth grade which would've been spring 1989. I'm giving my age away...it's good to know that drummers are still playing it. I'm not surprised. It's a great solo that'll test your chops from start to finish. Good luck on future musical endeavors!

  • can you do me a favor, and play four horsemen by mich markovich, ive been tryin to find it, but i cant. i would appreciate it

  • great job, what kind of pad are you using in this?

  • @Mathildo i think he's just using a black head

  • well played. i just started learning this to play and wanted to see a good example of it being played. this was great. thank you.

  • Thank you! Be sure to check youtube for other postings of Stamina. It's always great to see how others interpret a piece of music.

  • do you play tenors?

  • Yes I did in HS

  • o well it just looks like you kinda slice and people tend to do that if they played tenors for awhile i was just wondering im playing tornado this year that solo is a hoss

  • Hey I wanna learn this. Where can i find the music for it?

  • nice work! mitch was my teacher and he would be proud of you.

  • Thank you for your kind words!

  • O yeah!! Nice!!! ^__^

  • Hey, you did not do such a bad job. Although a lot was uneven. Mich is my teacher, and he is amazing at this. Work on counting and getting it even.

  • No you are not being an a hole :) Your comments are very true.

  • This was a very challenging piece for me. I'm happy to hear you were able to play it with more ease. One thing for certain, this solo helped me grow as a player and that's what counts.

  • would have been a lot better if you hadn't rushed it and really played through the slow section. You have excellent chops and your dynamics are good, just try not to rush through the fast stuff. Excellent flam paradiddle-diddles and you have some serious chops E-F but you need to phrase and seperate the flam to roll sections more. It will sound much cleaner if you just slowed it down a little more and excentuated the last section at the end which you played very well. Very good Job!

  • kinda look like concert sticks or kit sticks, and i might march tenors next season, but im so stuck on traditional grip I have to build my match back up. traditional is my best and favorite.

  • They were jeff queen sticks.

  • Technique sucked and why matched? Also why are you jammed in a corner?

  • I never learned traditional grip in high school and this video was shot in a small practice room.

  • boy has very good technique and matched grip is cool too.and much better for muscoulature.

  • what's hp with the super stick click at the begging. they barely touch and you can hear it all hardcore

  • Good Job the only thing i can say is try to put more emphasis on the dynamics. Other than that it's pretty good. Also i was just wondering did you march snare or anything else.

  • I marched tenors all four years of highschool.

  • wow!

    this is great.

i'm no drummer or anything... but a friend told me about this piece and it's awesome!

  • i think you should have slowed down the section where its marked "SLOWER". also section F should be repeated like it's marked in the original transcription. it sounded good though.

  • section F has an optional repeat

  • xD SLOWER

  • can you play traditional ?

  • I'm learning

  • atta baby

  • why are you backed into a corner? O.o

  • the drum sounds great

  • by Earl S Sturtze

  • Nice solo

have you heard a solo name The Rudimenter?

  • No i have not, i will look into it

  • Do your thing man, don't listen to the haters

  • All I'd recommend, would have to been more dynamic and used marching sticks.

  • haha, it's not a REAL snare solo if you don't do it traditionally.

  • yeah it is... you're just a trad fag...

  • i don't play traditionally. i'm just saying 4 out of 5 people play traditionally for a snare solo if you don't want to look like a fucking dumbshit.

  • You don't look like a dipshit if you play a snare solo in matched. You do if you're arms flail like this guy's do. Lol

  • match grip just looks straight up BAD on marching snare. i personally like match better, but thats because i play set. and if i played marching snare, i'd learn traditional, because its just better looking.

  • LOL You are right, I did flail alot.

  • Are you using marching sticks?

    Because those look pretty thin.

  • u need more dynamic contrast

  • Boooooooorrrrrrring!

  • I played this for solo contest this year. It's very fun.

  • you gotta put this down on the kit man!!!

  • love this solo. but ur hands hurt at the end. explains its name

  • hell yea. nice job vince.
