this hit number one on the charts for a time - the original video had the band dancing around dressed as vegemite jars. I thought there was hope for our fair land of sheep - how could you not. Hope Dons ok
Could be false memory syndrome, but I remember seeing a promo video on Droppa Kulcha, three guys in a row in gumboots walking behind lawnmowers, sh¡t like that.
best kiwi band from the 80's, saw them at Wanganui - then they rolled their effin van at Kai Iwi and one member got hurt, and I don't think they played again. Don't fight it Marsha is the most atmospheric NZ song of all time- Ross Mac
Yes, he certainly did as you said, it pretty much canned the band but they later got together for some concerts, after Tim learnt to replay the (bass) guitar again.
I was there for two Rugby World Cups and I can tell you different! Only lasted a week or so I must admit. Even the kiwi at Auckland Zoo was depressed.
I meant I was there while two world cups took place elsewhere in the world. sorry mate. Also I was at eden park to watch both england and the lions getting absolutely stuffed. V depressing, for me, but never mind. Sweet as. The potato thing is absolutely true but I look like a potato with a beard which is even worse...

Yep, I got several old RWP shows with Dick Driver. Have a look at the Headless Chickens Donca video I put up, where he tries to interview the band...

According to the Marsha video I have, the guitarist had to have his index finger amputated, so I'm sure that didn't help

The song is supposed to be sarcastic, oh and New Zealand has only hosted the 87 World Cup oh and people from England look like potatoes.
