Very few SCORE counselors have ever owned a business, almost none have ever started one. Most are retired middle managers from big business, which runs on an entirely different set of rules that SCORE counselors are using to apply to startups. There is a big disconnect between the advice and experience SCORE offers and what would actually help startups and true (under 20 employees) small businesses.

Funding an organization like this is not money well spent.
