I feel nostalgic as I lived on the 18th floor when I was a kid in the 1970's when it first opened. The whole area was V grim and derelict and there was no Meanwhile Gdns.

The playground was different & there were more walkways & a garage.Also there was no intercom so anybody could walk in & this caused a lot of problems.The lifts used to fail regularly. But I have fond memories & what a view!
