I would advise taking a week off completely on a regular basis (say at least every two months) to prevent overtraining, injury risk, and to let your body GROW! Thanks fellas.
The reason why your feeling pain in your chest is because you've started to lift heavier which means your body isn't use to that new level of heaviness, so what happens is you'll start growing, because if you keep lifting the same weights over and over your body already knows it can handle that type of weight and will not grow, but by lifting a little bit heavier than you have before you will start getting pains in them places which is a good sign of getting bigger and stronger :)
Twins, you said it, " Listen to your body". People mess up and disregard what their bodies intelligence says or just listen everyone else except themselves and get snapped up!
thumbs up so they can see it hi a m 14 years old i am pretty strong i cann bench 110 kg i weight 78 kg i am 192 cm tall my back is really worked out and my arms are 15 inches ( pure muscle)(nofat) but i cant see my 6 pack also my calves are 17 pls give me advice on how to ghet abs very quickly and food i should eat pls respond in a video asap
Abs generally come with diet my friend.. Normally regarding your bf% (body fat percentage). They say generally tour abs dont start showing till you get to around 7%, but im guessing it may vary depending on individual. To me you seem quiet young, so just continue to eat well, avoid the junk food and you should be able to maintain a healthy bf%
I feel pain near my heart and chest bone/cavity area, I spin my torso and crack that shit, but breathing in deep kinda stimulates that stinging pain near my heart.
@Bak3dB3an is this day after workout? maybe its just your chest hurting and you think its heart ive get that same feeling too.. but i dont know about the stinging go see a doctor
take a week off every once in a while (8 -10 weeks), or atleast when your body starts give you warning signs (eg. aches). Or else your body is gonna snap up on you and you'll be force to take time off, a looooooong time off.
i tore my pec. stupidly didnt go to a doctor and now one pec is a totally different shape from the other all because i asked a dickhead to spot me and he only lifted one side so all the pressure went onto my right side and that was some BAD PAIN
@jobbybag Kinda remind me of when i did heavy squats a while back. I got too cocky with the weights and ended up on my knees with that heavy fucking barbell on my shoulders. People came running after a while to pick the weights off. But one guy took too much off on the one side so i almost snapped my shoulder really bad. Luckily, it wasn´t too bad. However, i can still feel some pain in my right shoulder 2 weeks after it happend.
THATS TOP ADVICE LISTEN TO YOUR BODY DONT OVER DO IT.BE IN TUNE WITH YOUR BODY IVE LEARND THAT OVER THE YEARS.PS JUST SEEN NICK WRIGHT HES A BITCH HES IN CRAP SHAPE.
@k5lta With some exercises, i feel one of my arm is getting more sore than the other. They are still about the same size though so i don´t care too much about it. How about you, are both your arms the same size? Can you see a difference in your biceps? If so, i would suggest you to do a cople of more sets for that arm. But if they´re at the same size, then don´t bother doing more sets.
I get tht pain too, i usually always bench 70 pounds more than i weigh and i'll get the pain sometimes, but thts really when i up the weight cuz the more i do it my body just adapts itself and the pain goes away. But if i werent to do it for awhile and do it again i be sore for like 3 days, i do it cuz i gain strength quicker for me.
xBigReemo They Twins mayn.. if one feels pain so does the other! In fact... only one twin would need to go to the gym and it would add size to the other twin.. (srs)
Man today I tried doin shoulder press with a barbell today. It was only 95lbs lol. maaaaan my fuckin shoulders almost locked up on me. The only thing I can use a barbell is too warm up on bench press real light weight just to get loose. High reps. Besides that I'm officially done with barbell lifting. The shits painful I don't like it and it is the reason why I had originally stop lifting a long time ago anyway. Won't catch me doin parallel squats either
Good advice, fellows. I was doing an incline bench and my shoulders started hurting, so i took it easy and gradually got back into it. Now it's fine. Good advice to listen to your body. Or do " whatever the f*ck you wanna dooooooooo."
Thumbs this up people. The reason your chest is hurting from recently going heavy is because you are not going heavier on back. You chest is getting 10x more intense workouts from going so heavy while back day your doing the same as normal. If you go heavy on one area of your body you have to go equally as heavy on the opposite muscle.
I think you guys should make a remix to Tyga's Rack City called "Snap City." The lyrics could be advice or anything about workout. Something like, "Snap City Foo, Snap Snap City Foo, This is Just Advice Do What The FUCK You Wanna Do!" It may even sound better than tyga's haha
@LucifersDisciple6 "Where are my dumbells and all the love? Try too hard and snap some shit up. And I welcome you to Snap City. I said welcome to Snap City. Every advices every tips we give. In Nick Wright's ass is a mushroom tip. Ask around and they all know Hodge Twins. That's what's good man they all know Hodge Twins." The song is Trick Trick's btw. Em was featured on it.
Try Red Light Therapy, its awesome. my gym has those beds, helps with faster healing and pain relief of joints, muscles, sprains, strains and other benefits too. They're non UV rays and FDA approved too.
Question:used to be able to do 90 lbdumbbell flat chest presses like 5 months ago before I got pneumonia. I've been working my way back up and I'm doing 75s now. I get that pain in my shoulders what you guys are describing I think. I drop from 75 to 65 to see if that fixes the problem but I still end up feeling it, and I don't feel like I even worked out my chest. Same goes for seated shoulder presses. What can I do? Lift lighter from the beginning so I won't feel the pain in the first place?
@jjjjorman you have to focus on strengthening your rear deltoids. The twins did a video about this not long ago if you want to look for it. BigPlayRay also did a video showing some exercises to do using cables or resistance bands
@jjjjorman why not try different kinds of exercise? both those exercises u mentioned are pressing movements. maybe u should try something thats more of like a squeezing movement for chest, like some dumbbell flies. for shoulders you could do more of an isolation exercise routine like front raises and side raises. pressing movements tend to be heavy weight exercises, if u got tension and pains from those heavy weights try a different style of exercise and come back 2 presses again l8er
Tore my left Rhomboid and injured my left lower pectoral muscle. Physically the worse point of workout streak. 6 months to recover and I had to start from scratch due to trauma of the pain/fear emotionally and physically. ALL because I wasn't listening to my body.
@HooligannSTR I use to do Chinese Pole (lol stopped for obvious reasons). There's this move where you lift your body while keeping it 180 degrees with nothing but your traps and arms holding you up. One muscle failed after another like dominoes (after rhomboid tore, it was literally pulling on my lower pectoral muscle). I'd let go, but I didn't want to fall 20 ft from the ground.
@HooligannSTR Oh yeah. Once you feel like you're really strong and fit, you'll feel invincible. It's like going mad with power, I felt like I can do anything-I miss those days. Once you get your first muscle torn, you'll be scarred for life... and I don't mean that just physically.
i injured my leg at the gym, it was a very intense pain that didnt go away for about 2 months, you know what i did? i kept power lifting through the harsh pain.. i kept powerlifting and it eventually went away, i lightened the weights only a little bit
your muscles arent used to strength yet.. keep doing it and it will go away, strength training also gets your muscles more dense (more hard) so thats another thing you might notice
@TheExterminator420 lol thats just hypertension from working your muscles...healthy muscle should be able to be pushed thru to the bone almost. more strain=more hypertension if u dont stretch or get massages
just when my shoulder feels better i snap some shit up again! i usually just do squats and leg presses for my compound moves on leg day. just out of the blue i grab some dumbells and decide to throw in some lunges to shake things up. my second rep i felt a pull in the right side of my lower back like wtf! hada drop the dumbells and walk out. snap city!! i think its just muscular. gotta take a break for a few till it feels better. GOD DAMMIT MAN!
@estabonism LOL YEAH ME TO... I LIFTED, FELT A STING PUT THAT SHYT BACK LOL...FUNNY THING IT WAS ON MY VERY 1ST SET... IDK MAYBE I DIDNT WARM UP GOOD :/ NOW IT FEELS LIKE WHEN YOU SLEEP ON YOUR SIDE LOL... HOPE IT GOES AWAY...TUESDAY IS MY BACK DAY LOL
Main reason a lot of ppl snap their shit up is because they didnt warm up enough, if your gonna lift heavy, you better make sure all your muscles are warmed up and got some blood circulating through the bitches. I snapped some shit up in my left shoulder, doc shwartz... here i come.
I love how almost every video I watched has same intro. "u looking to build some muscles mayne?" then his brother pushes him to side and does his hair-move lolol.
Good lifters go balls to the wall 24/7. Great lifters know when to back off. Sometimes, it's better in the long run to scale it back. Building muscle is a marathon, not a sprint.

TheExterminator420 1 month ago
your muscles arent used to strength yet.. keep doing it and it will go away, strength training also gets your muscles more dense (more hard) so thats another thing you might notice
TheExterminator420 1 month ago

@MemoPittBull ahaha mine was on my last rep of the third set, i decided to try to push myself for just one more and almost killed myself:P

Main reason a lot of ppl snap their shit up is because they didnt warm up enough, if your gonna lift heavy, you better make sure all your muscles are warmed up and got some blood circulating through the bitches. I snapped some shit up in my left shoulder, doc shwartz... here i come.

Good lifters go balls to the wall 24/7. Great lifters know when to back off. Sometimes, it's better in the long run to scale it back. Building muscle is a marathon, not a sprint.

@commandant15 A lunk? Don't use that word. Only people who use the word 'lunk' are people who work out at planet bitchness.
