Thanks for sharing. The fact this was shot by an amateur helped me. I wanted to confirm what I saw yesterday. A nice close up detailed video would have been useless to me. But this certainly confirmed it was a Bald Eagle. Thanks a bunch

Nice video! Spotted my first bald eagle ever today and it looked much like yours, soaring over Apponequet Pond in Lakeville, Massachusetts.

This one is kinda dead until 1:15 into the clip.

Today, the eagle and the osprey put on quite a show. A lucky couple on the other side of the pond got a real treat as they had front row seats to the whole affair. I will be posting that in an hour or two. (4/29/07)

For the eagle watching crew, there is a nice public overlook of the pond on RT 145 in Franklinton/Middleburgh. It is almost directly across the pond from me. There is parking for a dozen or so cars.
