its very interesting how chub feed, i recon the best thing to do is wrap paste around a buoyant piece of cork as chub prefer to eat food 3-6 inches off the deck...

@nden85 It is said that chub will eat anything.... well, not true. so many asumptions about fish and fishing. i saw an underwatervid showing a feeder falling down amongst bream. general opinion is that bream wil 'attack' the feeder. well... they don't. they're not the least bit interested in it. they go straight for the hookbait. that's why you can get takes wilst thightning the line. and that is why you dont get 'feederbites' all the time.
