  • I started to nod after a while at the beginning

  • I am not sure about you, but making a fire special effect on a paper surface does not seem like a good idea, unless you fancy getting your mom m9ore mad at you because you set your whole room on fire.

  • Really great :) You have the "home made, bluescreen, so you don't have a real chromakey programm ? So... What programm do you do the chromakey ? and, How to have a good lightning ?

  • loved it! maybe this series can inspire me to try again at brickfilms and make a new short

  • Thanks Doug, both your films were inspirational for my lego film The Blue Crystal. Wish I'd seen this before though :D

  • AWESOME I LOVE PIRATES

  • Hi Doug I have to say Im a hug fan of both Pirates and American Outlawed. Erm can you reccomend a good animation program please? Thats the big problem I have because Windows Movie Maker is rubbish and since your animations are second to non i wouldnt mind some tips there. Thanks.

  • @MikeTheBlueBird i know windows moviemaker doesn't have frames per second--it has seconds per frame.

  • @MikeTheBlueBird If your on a PC, best way to go (for freeware at least) is with 'monkeyjam'. I've heard another called 'Helium Frog' has a chroma keyer, also free. If you're on a Mac, 'Frame by Frame' will do the job as a basic free-ware program, but better is (for a little money) 'iStopmotion', which has a built in Chroma-keyer effect, so no need for another program there.

    Hope it helps,

    PWC

  • fantastic, can't wait for the next episode

a great resource for me to make my films better
