Federer played like an angry beast here. Probably underestimated Djokovic in 08 Aussie rather than the illness. Take no excuse. Coming from 2007 and 4 years dominance i can understand the tour is belong to him and beating opponents is a less fun thing to do.

@terminator8338 Federer loves the fast hard court at the US Open, not more than he loves the grass at Wimbledon, but I think the US Open is his 2nd best surface. I mean he won 5-times straight there, and his performance is always up in the pre-US Open events like Cincinnati Masters, although his game obviously isn't the same as in 2003-2007, but he's still heads above most players. He's beating players in their 20s who are supposed to be in their prime.
