What about those hearing people who heavily promote on cochlear implants, are they the extremists? What about those people who heavily promote on banning ASL? Are they the extremists?
@ASLeslie Leslie, Its always up to you whatever you want to call it. I see that hearing people are trying to is "help" but often deaf people are uncomfortable with that. I think its very wrong for banning ASL and forcing people to get CI. They need to understand that we need a freedom. My question for you,... why stop people who really want CI if they are above 18? Maybe they should banned breast implant.. that women really want them.

There are always evil wrongdoing among people on this planet - no matter what - it's simple, just because of different background - why so complicated?

We just try our best to be a better person than others. We just have to try to make things better and give them a freedom as much as we can too. Thanks for your comment.

But I am trying to saying is what other people view as extremist can be misunderstood of who we are. There are people out there who are anti-hearing. I dont think you are one of them of them. I think you want to see a stronger deaf community in peaceful way.
