This is half of the rhythm section of one incarnation of King Crimson: Gunn y Mastelotto (the other half was Bruford y Levin) together with a couple of Nordics under dope, ready to be tied.

This mix of rhythms, tango, free jazz and singing, can be really enjoyable if you open your mind to allow some fresh air of the usual stuff offered by TV.

I've always loved Trey's Warr guitar work - but with this band he really is just hanging in there - Mastelleto's percussion is brilliant and much freer drumming than with KC - and that accordion player is awesome! Great post! Thanks.

It's a Stick. It's used to play bass lines and other armonic parts based on tapping tecniques.

Its a Warr guitar. The makers name is unsurprisingly Warr. A "stick" is a different instrument played by a number of bass players. Refer to 1990's King Crimson where Tony Levin plays "stick" and Trey Gunn plays (I believe) 2 variants of the Warr guitar. Both guys were known as bass players.

many people, since the stick was available first, call most touch-style instruments 'sticks.' and now that the warr guitar is gaining a huge amount of popularity (well-deserved, if you ask me) more people are calling most touch-style instruments 'warr guitars'. it's funny how that happens.
