Not Baroque at all. Busoni somehow manages the impossible in chaconne. It has always been perfect! this sounds like romantic era waltzes. Kempff why does he do this . Biret studied with him of course .

I like it that she starts at one speed and gets gradually slower as she really gets into the piece. I like this Menuet played more slowly than a minuet should be. It's a lovely recording.

it is actually a transcription by wilhelm kempff, I've seen scores of his transcriptions, I'm sure you'll find it in one of them, minuetto by haendel.

Idil is one of the greatest musicians living in the world, I wish she were known more and depth of her playing were understood better!

I keep listening to her and everytime I realize a different detail on the notes.
