Game devs of the dungeon siege series pulled the same shit on dungeon siege 3, looks like a diablo bullshit game ripoff and has litteraly nothing too do with the original series or first DG game. I dont get why game devs are ruining the names of perfectly good games these days...sad....really.

Too you ChromeHounds was ok. But to me (and other people) that game was my first custom mech game. I was not even interested in mech games. But I did had a thing for Armor warefare. ChromeHounds is a good game. And I liked it.
On till SEGA shut down the games online server (I experienced the best online matches with my squad that I can say and tell about). That game only been out for a couple of years. But I can still play SP story mode though. And that's it.

i find that this looks interesting. i didnt play S.B but i spent 4 and a half years playing Chomehounds which if this is anything like it i will be getting this. yes the hounds wasnt the best looking things BUT the over all game play being squad based. the team work that was needed. was honestly the best ive seen on the 360. so cheers to fromsoftware i will be keeping an i eye on this one

I made a virtual Spit Take when learning that a new Steel Battalion was announced. It couldn't be!
But there it was-sort of. Between Kinect and those fugly not-VTs, I'm getting mixed feelings. Joy in that Capcom still remembers the name "Steel Battalion". Disappointment in that it's practically in name only.
I'll try to approach it as an original game instead.
And as for From Software, Armored Core is nice and Metal Wolf Chaos is AWESOME, but neither are Steel Battalion. Nothing else is.

Can't comment on Armored Core too much, but the Metal Wolf looks pretty badass, if mostly because of the weapon packs.
The VTs we know, however, are...unique. Nothing else out there quite like them. I kind of dig the Decider, even if it's just 1st-gen.

But I this agree with the stupid design of new "V.T." (I too call Vertical Toilets) if we compare with Prominence or Decider VT glorius.
But i say too... wait the finish work and wait for see the work of FROM Software.
Chromehounds this really cool. And the servers too closed in less of 2 years.

Weren't you one of the guys snarking about how Chrome Hounds mech design looked like someone piled a bunch of guns on a platform with legs, back when the forums had a Chrome Hounds section? I'd definitely agree there.
Can't comment on Armored Core too much, but the Metal Wolf looks pretty badass, if mostly because of the weapon packs.
The VTs we know, however, are...unique. Nothing else out there quite like them. I kind of dig the Decider, even if it's just 1st-gen.

After i watched the trailer ,i can say that :
Simulation is dead
awesome mecha design is dead
awesome sequence initialization and move was dead
awesome mechanical sounds look also dead
Interesting story and universe was definitively dead

dude.... i think this game is going to be a POS. how the hell can a camera replace such a massive controller, and really get the same "Feel" as line of contact???? i think it'll be pretty similar, but it's going to be a dummed down LoC
