you need to specify type two diabets. I am a type one diabetic and a professional ballet dancer. I was 91 lbs at 5'6 when I was diagnosed. I currently wear a size 0. diabetes as a term does not equal disharmony because of lifestyle. it is not the fault of type one diabetics that our pancreas stops pruducing insulin.

This clip says caffeine causes diabetes. Other sources say coffee might help prevent diabetes. One source says the diabetic can drink as much diet soda as he or she wants, other sources say diet soda causes diabetes big time. And my doctor is trying to force his pills down my throat, when I read that the pills cause weight gain, stress out the pancreas, and basically put you deeper in complications faster.

Just WHO are we supposed to believe in all this?!

Theres no mention of Cacoa in the Gabriel Cousens book, but they make chocolate on the DVD, is raw cacoa OK for a diabetic, is there a limit?

White Tea has caffeine. But studies have proven that it's helps people with diabetes. Coffee on the other hand, seems to causing arthritis, and other problems. Perhaps, it's coffee.

@youvexme 1. Buy 1 lb. of organic, French Roast, course ground.

2. Put the whole lb of grounds in a filter bag, immerse in 9 cups of water in a pot, cover and steep 8-12 hrs at room temp.

3. Drain; put the concentrate (~1 liter +) in glass. Store in refrigerator.

4. Ready? Add 2-4 Tablespoons to a smoothie, a 1/2 glass of milk or nutmilk, etc. Optional: heat to drinking temp.
