great idea! well what i'm basically do is just keep the magazines that I like and now i have tons of them. I should start cutting them out instead of keeping the whole magazine lol
very good.tips dom.. something i have been meaning to do since starting studio portrait work.. oh previous name was RickBradRB1 - setting up a new channel to go with website/blog.
I think it's time for me to find myself a girlfriend :P For hers magazines of course :)
But seriously - great source for magazines, are stands with outdated (eq cheap) press. We have them on every major train station in Poland. I don't think its different in any other country :)
cud you please do a video on what theyre looking for in a photography portfolio? im heading to college next year and need to assemble it but im a bit stuck, can you help?
well im applying to go to an art college, majoring in photography. and the portfolio is worth 600 points to your entry total which is 820 points (in ireland we use the leaving certificate to get points, the max being 600)
my teacher at the moment is allowing me use his studio whenever i need to so im just wondering what should be in it while applying to college and how should i format it.
im clueless so any advice would be much appreciated.
@scarringlight does the uni or school not give you any idea of the kind of things they are looking for? i am a bit clueless to this as well. is it arty, technical expertese, creative vision, or what ever, that they are looking for?

great video, BUT you shouldn't admit to having a "little tip" maybe an average size tip or even a large tip but no one wants a little tip!
