  • lol look at that jet exhaust

  • Shit, for a moment is sounded like an f16!

  • Me like!

  • Stuff the plane i just want to hear the announcer say fish and chips...........

  • sounded like one of those space ships in star wars!

  • @TheMostFamousChannel just go and fuck yourself

  • @TheMostFamousChannel trollllllll

  • @TheMostFamousChannel man you're stupid.

  • She sounds just like a fighter! Gotta love those JT8Ds...essentially a 50's turbojet with a revised compressor(2 stage fan-compressor)

  • @TheMostFamousChannel ur a jack off

  • JT8D ROCKS!

  • @TheMostFamousChannel ur kidding right?

  • lol sounds like a TIE-Fighter

  • @TheMostFamousChannel LOL you spanner..

  • pretty fast.. i think i fly that continous during atalntic

  • Great video for those of us who never saw the RNZAF 727 in action, replaced by the equally awesome 757-200. :D

  • @TheMostFamousChannel it definetly is not fake, there is no hole in the tail other than the engine exhaust. there are military markings on the vertical stabilizer. Ground effect should not be a problem at 100 feet or more. The video is not tampered with.

  • @Kahu1958 pwned!

  • Phalanx CIWS...nuff said

  • TWAL1011 approves

  • Bla bla bla and I get paid by the word that's why I spoilt this clip for normal people who enjoy the sound!

  • @GOASTRC Some people appreciate information at airshows. In reality, the 727 would have sounded a fuckload louder to those in the vicinity.

  • Anothe classic case of commentators needing to shut the f#^k up!

  • Listen to that roar, baby!

  • seen lower and faster from a 727.

  • lol

    Christ he is fucking mov'n!

  • also dc-9 md-80's also have great engines like that to

  • 737-200 727-100/200 best sounding passaner aircraft outhere

  • We live about 6 miles from a regional airport with a cargo 727 based on the field......you can always tell when that airplane takes off at night. Those deep-throated old engines can't be confused with anything else. :)

  • Sencillamente este es el mejor avión de Boeing

  • god that sound, I dare say thats right up with fighters with it.

  • nice plane,so much better than russian planes.love the sound

  • When was this Airshow.

    Was it Classic Fighters(haha)

    or a different one

  • Yes, it was at classic Fighters, Easter2005

  • wow 702 km/h O.O

  • demasiado bueno

  • Kahu, any word on an appearance by the 757 at this years show?

  • I am not sure what will be there. They are at most airshows around the country.

I certainly hope to be there with my video camera.

  • was the 707 the first boeing to be created

  • Boeing has been making aircraft since 1916. the 707 was their first successful commercial jet. the 727 in this clip was one of their subsequent designs.

  • Yes, and the first two Boeings ever built were here in NZ, bi floatplanes, owned by Walsh Bros Flying School in 1918. Rumour is they could be buried in Takapuna Hills. 1968, NZ buys its first Boeing in 50 years, when we become the first country outside USA or Europe to buy a 737. Good vid. I saw this 727 at do the same at Wanaka Easter 2002, one is now stored at Blenhiem for training, hopefully to be preserved eventually. And we should save the remaining early ex NAC 737-200derilect in USA!

  • no, boeing has already been making planes for a long time

Before, they made the 307 and 377

  • Lovely footage, Best Airliner out !!!!

  • This is from a Wanaka Airshow in New Zealand isn't it?? That was the Royal New Zealand Airforce's only jetplane too.

  • It was at the Omaka New Zealand Airshow, it was its last display before being retired from the RNZAF

  • Wonder what 911 conspiracy whackos have to say about this, when they say a commercial aircraft cant fly this fast at this low of an altitude..I know it is a military plane, but it is still a 727. The announcer say 390 knots which I figure to be about 450 mph.

  • OMG that is what I say...

Ha haha! And checkout those crazy 757 vids as well!! That out to shut those dudes up!

  • Triple, I had a roommate thats a pilot for continental, he was a bit older than me and had been flying for many years... we used to discuss what these air craft were capable of years before 911 happened and commercial aircraft are fully capable of doing everything they did on 911 and then some. Suggest you check out 707 doing a complete roll on YT.Far as the speed calculation, I did what 911 nuts don't do and used logic and factual information available my fingertips to calculate knots into MPH.

  • This is far from a Low Pass... Check A310 TAP at Evora, or 727 from Varig in Brazil, those were low passes...

  • exactly!!

  • maybe the speed has something to do with it ? LOL i would say yes

  • There's something breathtaking about seeing a passenger liner doing a low fly-by.

  • 300 feet plus .. still an awesome flyby at low level.

  • too high!

  • I see Von Richtoffen paid a visit...

  • if you are interested in Von Richtoffen see my video "World War One Fighter planes". It is a re-enactment and a tribute to him and his squadron

  • too high!

  • Strange to see it at such altitude without wheels!

  • It's unfortunate that the three-holer had to go, but it was for good reasons - listen to the noise it makes, and see the amount of black smoke it belches out! It's still sad, tho...

  • They can be re-powered, happily.

  • good sound of that plane :)

  • The MD80 and MD11, have a great sound to!:D

  • love the sound of early turbofans

  • the 727 from varig did a better pass,wacht it,in related videos!!

  • awesome

  • awesome!

  • why wouldn't it be a 727, at 0:36 he even says "and that was a boeing 727"

  • i think that is a yakovlev yak-42i (i own a book on airplanes its the closest one it looks like)

  • No. You must be joking. Believe me it really is a Boeing 727. One of two operated by the New Zealand Air force (RNZAF) and this was it's last public display before being replaced by leased B757s.

  • I confirm. I know what a Yak looks like - similar config but this is a 727 - tell tale signs include the window configuration and size of the engines, fuselage width, tail fin and everything else.

  • the topolev and yakolevs are pieces of shit

  • It's NOT a 727 !!!

  • What do you think it is???

  • is 727-100 thats explain the smaller size.

  • That was no doubt, extremely kewl. I've always wanted to see this but I live in the USA and I don't believe the FAA would allow it. I've never seen them do this at an airshow here.

  • Thats a RNZAF 727 dude and that was at the wanaka airshow, dude get your facts right

  • Correct it was the RNZAF 727, but it was at the Omaka Airshow. (I took the video).

  • That was`nt a 727... ???

  • it was

  • No it's not, it's DC-10

  • You are a dumb ass!! DC-10's dont have the elevator on top of the vertical stabilizer and they dont have two engines in the back of the fuselage...they are under the wings..do your research.

  • u dont know anything about airplanes heheheheh

  • was that the 2005 omaka show?

  • Yes it was.

  • fighter jet at high speed

  • Talk about a low fly over. That 727 sounded like a

  • That was the kiwi airforce

  • not nuch lower

  • not bad.

  • if only Fed Ex did that. Add some afterburners to that ole bird!

  • that's pretty impressive, all things considered

  • yeah

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeet that plane was realy flying I do miss the old B-727

  • Lower!
