I am Korean. This is no offense to Miss World 2007. First of all, we have different point of views about beauty. Many Korean and Japanese women have flawless beautiful skin. Though Zi Lin is pretty, for me, she looks a little ordinary, not that Breathtakingly Gorgeous. Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2007, had an energy and charisma that made people thrilled. In my point of view. She looks like "a girl next door" type. I like her but she is just not my favorite. I love Riyo more. Sorry for Chinese.

Zi Lin is wearing the least makeup. She only had sheer eyeshadow and very light lipgloss on, whereas Miss Japan has a whole cake of makeup on and I've seen Miss Japan without makeup and she looks horrendous.

I have watched Pageant Place, the reality TV show broadcasted on MTV, and Riyo Mori was beautiful without make-up. She was beautiful even when she was got up in the morning. Every year, the reigning Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe live together in a NYC apartment. In Pageant Place, you truly know what goes on behind closed doors. Zi Lin also has beautiful skin but I think she needs more energy. For me, Riyo has brilliance and energy. Riyo has something that make people thrilled

By the way, I have seen some photos of this press conference. Zi Lin was wearing a little more make-up than you thought. Zi Lin was wearing lipstick like maroon colour or something red. I thought Elisa Najera, Miss Mexico 2008 and the 4th runner-up in Miss Universe 2008, was the best in those group photos.

I was being a little bit harsh about Riyo, but the pictures that I saw of her weren't very flattering at all, but I guess those were bad pictures. I've seen Zi Lin without makeup on when she was in Vietnam and she did not look plain at all. Her features are her best asset and that's what made her stood out. Zi Lin was an athlete, she has energy and very people friendly.

Try looking for video where other western contestants without their make-up, they will also look like average girls. Miss World here is wearing the least make-up among all the girls in this video.
