  • Ummm, all artificial sweeteners are chemically unrelated to each other...

  • I can hardly drink any of the colas straight, I have to cut 'em with something!! You know, dilute them somewhat......:)

  • If you are going to drink sodas or as we Europeans call them pop drink the full sugar versions that don't have E950(I think that is the number for aspartane(spelling?)).

  • Very informative! I love this video because since I have stopped consuming diet drinks my health has improved in many ways. Mainly, I no longer have migraine headaces. Thank You Dr. Gilbere!

  • Studies have shown people gaining more weight on diet sodas than regular sodas. Serious, controlled studies. Just like Trans Fats, the FDA has allowed a lee way on labeling. Just watch out for "fully hydrogenated oils" as opposed to partially hydrogenated oils. Just because a label say's "0" trans fats doesn't mean it is truth.

  • Certain chemicals are not negotiated by the body for metabolism. They circulate for a lifetime.

  • Anyone who drinks 6 sodas a day is a retard whether they are diet or not. Dr, Gloria's assumptions are based on slim knowledge and personal events, not scientific knowledge or experimentation.

I'm not denying the effects of diet soda or artificial sweeteners but they are certainly not as bad as people make them out to be. Look it up.

  • So now what for those who are diabetic? They cannot consume regular foods and drinks because of the sugar content.

  • Cola gives me a headache plus I've heard it's unhealthy. That's why I drink beer :D

  • aspartame (sodium) intake through diet softdrinks may depend on the body tolerance, you can elimanate it by frequent urinating and water intake... wow i need to review my molecular biology...

  • RIP andreathackxton

  • @chilltown3445 Ha, thanks. :)

  • @andreathackxton looking back on it though, the high fructose corn syrup alternative is probably worse. good to see ur still alive and kicking =)

  • shit we are being poisoned! check the news there's bound to be an investigation

report, WRONG!!!!!!!! this kind of poisoning is no accident; its a deliberate betrayal to further an agenda of power reduction and state dependence upon the people. never before have so many people with so many different health issues that conveniently come with treatments but no cures. HMMMMMMMMM

  • I can down a 24pack of diet dr pepper/diet coke in a half a day. I'll die happy.

  • @andreathackxton more likely you'll die writhing in pain after several years of neurological problems. I'm just the messenger boy.

  • @revived0103 Except for not really. My great grandmas been drinkin diet soda since it came out and she's 98 and still kickin and has not one health problem. Thanks for trying though :)

  • @andreathackxton Ah, well I've been proven wrong. Someone's grandma drinks it and is ok. Yup, that's all the proof we need, aspartame's harmless. Seriously, who do you work for, or who has brainwashed you? You manage to combine total ignorance with unbearable snottiness. I don't care what you think, science speaks for itself. THAT'S what I go by, not your incredibly unreliable anecdote. And since the whole point is caring about one another, for the love of god stop putting it in your body! Now!

  • @revived0103 Ignorant? Hardly. Snotiness? Far from it. I'm simply telling you I don't think there's anything wrong with diet coke because of the fact EVERYONE in my family drinks and not a single one of them has had a problem with their health. I dont give two rat's @sses if you use science. Its benen proven wrong before, why not again. Thanks for trying though :)

  • @andreathackxton Ok two things: NO ONE in your family has EVER had a problem with their health? Rethink that statement and get back to me. Also, the fact that you haven't had a serious problem YET does not mean you absolutely will not. That's a logical error.

  • @revived0103 Yeah, no ones had a problem. And even if I do get a serious problem, who's to say diet coke would be the cause of it? A lot of things can lead to any problem.

  • @andreathackxton Everyone else on earth is jealous of your family! Perfect health and whatnot....

  • @revived0103 Nope. Just you because you continue to go on. If you want to try and be the bigger person, you can stop at anytime :)

  • @andreathackxton ok, it's called talking. But yeah we can stop

  • MOST CHILDREN'S VITES HAS IT!

    Optivites at wholefoodformulations.optimalhealthsystems

They have awesome products. They teach ppl about reading the labels and what everything REALLY means

  • And that's all well and good telling folks what to eat and drink and how people are being poisoned but I think her message may resonate better if Dr Chubkins learned to put the fork down.

  • Look up Billy Meier, then Bringers of the dawn if you havent already

  • .0_0 i might be in trouble then. smoke 3 packs aday and 2 six paks of diet coke.

  • I'm not sure if the following information is true, but someone posted on a message board that aspartame may become formaldehyde (toxic chemical that is used to preserve the dead/deceased) when heated. I've never really developed a taste or a need for soft drinks, but I do try to use regular table sugar instead of sugar substitutes. (Just recently heard that consuming too much sugar can raise one's cholesterol, too :)

  • orif it says low sugar, it usually has some artificial sweeteners.

  • I cant drink soda at all without my body- mainly my stomach- feeling extremely sick.

  • @MrsBooker100 I want to make sweet love to the fat women with glasses in this video. All night long!!!

  • @frankgunderman why did you feel the need to tell me that?

  • @MrsBooker100 He probably is addicted to Aspartame and suffers from "dementia". Not that there is anything wrong with the lady in glasses. A more likely explanation might be that "dementia" sometimes causes it's victims to express themselves in a vulgar and inappropriate manner. Also, while in the "dementia" state of confusion, he also may have dropped his reply comment to the wrong YT account name all together.

  • People should always read the labels of food products. Consumer groups have fought long and hard to make this information available to the public. Many are surprised at what they are actually eating!

  • ive stoped drinking any diet drinks but have found aspartame in non diet drinks so reed all labels its in reg fanta in uk most of all gum has it as well and toothpaste im sure its in lots of other stuff as well.

  • I started drinking diet pepsi over a year ago and today I will not drink even one. I used to drink diet coke and pepsi all the time, maybe three or four a day. I didn`t think much of it. Then about a year ago, I started getting these tiny red spots on my neck. They quickly turned into blisters. I went to the doctor, nothing helped. It was horribly painful. Then I gave up soft drinks and now my skin is very healthy, healed and no more pain. It must have been the acid and chemicals. Wow!

  • thank you soo much for the great video.

  • Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this video if I could choose the amount of stars it would be 1000 stars literally.

  • what are diabetics supposed to do they can't eat sugar

  • @cyborg01110 stevia i s a natural sweetener with no calories. it is very similar to sweet'n'low in taste. you can also use Agave nectar, which is low glycemic, but it does have calories. you can find both at most health food stores.

  • Erythritol, Stevia, Agave, Xylitol, etc. There are good sweeteners out there

  • i love diet soda

  • im glad im not you

  • uh, or just drink water

  • I'm been drinking 3 to 4 bottles of water a day, and 1 diet orange soda can, I dislike coke and Pepsi the most.

  • That's better than soda all day. Everyone has their vice, but I think it would be a good idea to cut it out all together.

  • I mean 4 waters is good right? I knew someone who drinked two 2liter bottles a day, she will get diebeddies(Excuse spelling) if she dosen't cut down.

  • 4 bottles of water a day is equivalent to the amount that is recommended for a healthy person.

  • Great because I was afraid that I have to drink like 10 of them. The problem is that you have to go to the bathroom more, but it's working that the toxins are being drained from the weak body.

  • Pepsi and coke are worst thing to drink the chemicals. They are real toilet cleaners. World medical bill will almost be reduced by 90% if we stop drinking them

  • This is a pretty good series of videos for youtube, that woman seems be stating some obvious things but we seem to forget how bad for us certain foods or drinks can be.

  • This woman obviously prefers liquid butter with a side pseudoscience.

  • cry to your god

  • i drink life 6 cokes a day, i used to drink diet but not anymore i like regular

  • okay, then you're super unhealthy

  • STEVIA, STEVIA, STEVIA, STEVIA, STEVIA...and oh yes..STEVIA! people..

  • In a week, I wean myslf of Diet colas and sugar free aspartame laced foods and guess what. I have sharper vision - no more blurryness. But I regret losing my hair after 25 years of consumingit!

  • i drink around 4 diet cokes every single day for the past 6 years and i feel I'm pretty much fucked up because of this shit ... but i will quit it from this moment ... actually i just finished the last one in the fridge and I'll never buy anymore.

I WANNA BE FREE FROM ALL THESE HUGE HEARTLESS COMPANIES COKE, PIPES ... ETC

  • If you have not yet, try stevia. It is a completely natural plant, and is non-caloric. Over 80% of sweet foods contain stevia in Japan. There are no side effects either.

  • I noticed that people that drink DIET POP are FAT, and retarded. Is there a connection?

  • Bill, I don't know about retardation, but diet pop does cause obesity. It actually stimulates the appetite.

  • It doesn't make people fat, but fat people like to drink it.

  • Comment removed

  • For the last 3 or so years I drink aprx.

3 gallons of either diet Coke or diet Pepsi per day. I don`t suffer from any of these illnesses. Other than the fact that every joint in my body hurts, I can`t fall asleep at night until 6am or 7am,

  • OMG, 3 gallons per day! I'm surprised you don't pass out from dehydration. I didn't think it was possible to drink that much. Then again, diet soda is addictive.

  • I think braineater612 is taking the mickey(taking the piss, being sarcastic).

  • its only a matter of time before u feel the effects of the aspartame ruining your health

  • every joint in your body hurts. sounds like you have symptoms for osteoporosis- and you'll never ever fall asleep at night with the powerforce of ariticial sugars pumping through your blood stream. its hyperactivity. my advice to you- cut the soda out- FOR GOOD.

  • I have trouble remembering everything, I am unable to walk due to the heels of my feet hurt so bad until stretched out, then they only mildly hurt, I now weigh 240lbs, instead of 185lbs of 3 years prior, and I could go on, except for the fact that the person writing this for me has to leave. You see, I can`t see anymore...I`m now blind too!

Diet Coke and Pepsi, my attorney will be in touch soon for my death is not far.

  • thnaks for posting this! I got VERY VERY sick when I switched to Equal sweetener.. migraines everyday... vertigo, blurred vision, a buring sensation in my arms.. racing heartbeat..joint pain...phantom tooth pain.... its almost unbelieveable.. I'm glad I had several witness's to this.. I stopped the Equal and all my symptoms went away within 3 weeks.

  • we dont look at labels because we except our government to provide healthy products to its citizens.

sorry world, the government doesn't give a shit about you.

  • @xSammBAM I agree whole heartedly
