@silentpounce i have seen a slaughter video before it was terrible but I saw also saw two whale in their natural habitat violently thrown around a baby sea lion for fun that was far worse. Seriously I don't understand vegetarians. If that's what they want to be more power to them. But animals still get eaten by other animals. What are they gonna do go tell their carnivorous friends the lion and the shark to stop hunting prey and switch to fruits and veggies. Animals all over the world feed on each other from bears all the way down to the lizard who feeds on bugs. Humans are no different. I don't agree that animals should be abused for fun but eating meat is a way of life.

Is she a vegan? Are her children vegans? I doubt it.

Part of the problem as I see it, over the centuries as people moved into larger groups, villages, towns, cities, they no longer had the land or skills to raise what they need for their families.
Example, Bob starts doing what he is good at for others, while others take up the tasks he no longer has time for. More and more people need someone else to farm and process the food. The job of processing everything gets bigger, done by fewer, shortcuts happen, people turn a blind eye.

They released a paper bon their position of vegetarian (including pure vegetarian aka vegan) diets. To quote from the astract:

A basic understanding of nutrition - what you eat, and why - is important. For both vegans and non-vegans, too. It's not like us westerners
I don't go "overboard". I mainly eat a mixed diet of vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains and a vegan milk, normally soy milk.
Thankfully it's not 1944 (when the word vegan was coined), and now our understanding of nutrition is great.

Amen to that. I'm vegan and fully support animals as equals to humans. However, PETA really scares me. Their publicity stunts and usage of violence and killing of many animals "for a good cause" is disturbing, counterproductive, and makes animal lovers like myself look bad. Great video!
