Movie flaw! At 6:06 look at the bottom left corner of Entragian's uniform. It has a name card on it. In the book Stephen King describes numerous times (through the character's eyes) that they look at the uniform for one and can't find one. xD

For a Made-for-TV movie it was very well done but they changed many things compared to the book and many scenes (esp. places) were just copied from Lord of Illusions (1995). Ron Perlman was definitely the most impressive - evil characters are his Best!. Steve Weber, Kelly Overton, Shane Haboucha did a great job too

I'm a huge King fan and this happens to be one of my favorite books. If you haven't read it, it is a must. Part of the problem I have is that I always begin casting roles when I read the books. I imagine who would be interesting in each role. Ron Pearlman was definitely never on the list for Colly. He's a great actor. I'll keep watching and see if he can pull it off.

@SchiefbahnDami For me, The Dark Half is Kings worst book. To me it feels forced. The dialogue is unnatural and having the characters always give those huge monologues just doesn't work. He does something similar in "From a Buick 8" but it totally works in that book. He really gets the feel real speak. Oddly, the movie: the Dark half, came across as better than the book to me. And do you mean "The Mist" by King? "The Fog" is an old horror film from the 70's.

Desperation was one of my favourite King books, the last good one he wrote outside of his DT books.

You have got to love Ron Perlman, he is the greatest. It is a bit of a problem however to see him in a role such as this. Whenever I see him I think of either Hellboy or his run as Vincent in "Beauty and the Beast". This character is WAAAY on the other side of the tracks compared to those other two :o))
