As I lived in glen ridge last year, I can tell you that there are still people like this, just on a much lower scale. Like every place however, there are really cool people there, and bad ones. The good ones have a good sence of humor and are fun to be around usualy, and there are the fucks who think they are jocks, but really, they are just acting. Glen ridge has its goods and bads....
My Dad and Grandma knew the victim. My dad had actually been to her house a few times. They both said the movie overdid the handicap the girl had a bit. But yeah, it's a movie, they always do things like that, to get your more in to it.
